What Are We Willing to Sacrifice?

On Sunday, I had the privilege of accepting a contribution from students in grades 1-8 within our parish’s Religious Education classes. These children attend public school during the week and obtain their religious education on Sunday.

The contribution was for a pregnancy clinic that our parish Respect Life Ministry supports. One of the teachers had organized a ‘Dimes for Diapers’ program, in which the students voluntarily contributed pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and an occasional dollar bill to support the clinic. As key as the total amount of the contribution was, of greater awe was the fact that grade school students were willing to sacrifice their money for girls, women and babies they most likely will never know. This triggered the question, ‘What are we willing to sacrifice to save our God-favored nation?’ After receiving the contribution, I visited with the teacher who organized the program and the coordinator of the classes. We briefly discussed the HHS Mandate, the fraud and intentional euthanasia embedded within ObamaCare, Agenda 21, and the Domestic Terrorist Profile. Isn’t it obvious that those orchestrating the destruction of everything that patriots and people of faith hold dear are prepared to do whatever it takes to ram their scurrilous agenda upon us? If so, what are we willing to do to stop this destructive agenda? The teacher said that as adults, we must become informed and engaged, sacrificing time to defeat the assaults under which we find ourselves.

It got me to thinking about Abraham and Isaac. Are we being tested by God to see if we are willing to do whatever it takes to save our religious freedoms, constitutional rights and freedoms, and our constitutional republic? Are we willing to sacrifice our time, talent and treasury towards these endeavors? As demanding as this may be, isn’t this much less than what Abraham was willing to sacrifice to prove his love of God? As the teacher said, everyone is busy, but we can’t use our busyness as an excuse for not acting to save what God has granted us. Are we too busy and apathetic to hear God’s call to us? If Abraham was willing to sacrifice his son, Isaac, how can we ignore the call of God in fighting to prevent the total destruction of our constitutional republic? What legacy are we willing to leave for our children and the generations that follow them? It is apparent that Satanic-inspired narcissists have seized control of the leadership of both parties within our political system. The battle ceased being between Democrats vs. Republicans a long time ago. The battle is between God and Satan, and those who seek to dominate vs. those who refuse to be dominated. Some people are waking up to this reality, but the masses are still mired in yesteryear thinking. As for sacrificing time, talent and treasury, what are our families worth? What are our freedoms to practice our chosen faiths worth? What are our children and grandchildren’s education worth? What are our employment and income opportunities worth? What are our homes and personal property worth? What are our constitutional rights and freedoms worth? One of the biggest sacrifices many make may be discarding outdated beliefs in both political parties that have been passed down through several generations. Even if the beliefs were valid at one time, the game has changed dramatically. The leaders of both parties are playing the electorate for fools, and we are obliging them! Those orchestrating our controlled destruction are counting upon the vast majority of the electorate of not being willing to learn the truth, as it exists today, aided by the propaganda pushed by the puppeteer-controlled media. How can a person live in today and have a future, when they are stubbornly tethered to beliefs of family members who are no longer with us, and that are no longer valid? The narcissists have a several-decade head start in working to destroy what has made the United States the envy of the world, even with our warts. Thus, we cannot rescue our republic through the ballot box alone. We will need God’s hand and heart to fortify us with what is needed to repel those who seek our destruction. With every assault perpetrated by those in government that is being exposed on a daily basis, our opportunity to rally the citizenry increases. We need trustworthy leadership to emerge so that patriots will be energized to throw out as many of the bums as is possible. All 435 Representatives are up for election, 33 Senatorial seats are up for election under normal election protocol, and two other seats are up for special elections. This means that 470 of the 535 members of Congress who could be swept from their fiefdoms. 2014 is shaping up to be a pivotal election year. Will the electorate engage God through sacrifice and repentance in our quest to rescue our republic, reversing the destruction visited upon us by both major political parties and their heartless puppeteers? Aren’t our present and our children’s futures worth our sacrifices now? We can be victorious with the divine assistance of the Holy Trinity in repelling the assaults of the self-appointed elites. Let’s roll!
