How long has it been since It was discovered that a veritable gold mine of oil was being proposed for our use by our friends in Canada? Four or five years at least.
Until our 'Major Obstructionist and Dictator', Barack Hussein Obama heard of it and immediately began plotting with his beloved Islamists Brotherhood to keep it out of American hands by simply refusing to allow a pipeline to be built to carry the oil into the United States; succeeding ever since.
How can it be that ONE man can thwart the will of multi-millions of citizens of both countries that are ready to welcome into production such a valuable commodity and opportunity to break the bonds of tyranny held by the oil producing Islamic countries of the Middle East whose second major commodity for the world is terrorism?
I really don't care how beautiful the Islamist call to prayer is on a quiet morning for our resident dictator who readily and willingly is ready to bypass our duly and constitutionally other elected officials of the Congress and issue his un-Constitutionally and country-cleaving Executive Orders. I am more concerned with the enigma that finds a country the size of the United States to be unable to produce one of its multi-millions of citizens to take up the rallying cause for prosperity and good for all.
There are several very vocal at incorrect adherence to faulty causes that can bring great harm to our country; we call them RINOs or "Republicans In Name Only" who are so eager and anxious to work with foreign countries to our South on absorbing many millions of their unwanted people as citizen-ready to embrace and pour on untold BILLIONS of dollars worth of subsistence, shelter and multiple other American blessings.
But there is not ONE of these traitors among the "Gang of Eight" or the many souls disloyal to the Constitution of the United States who would sell us short and welcome these damaging factors to our daily good while turning their backs on our good neighbors to the North who offer us their precious factor of freedom from tyranny from the cost of oil.
Ask Senators McCain or Graham or Collins or Alexander or any of the Gang of Eight why they aren't as vociferous about getting an oil pool for OUR benefit and the savings of our tax dollars, as they are when it comes to coddling and feeding illegal aliens?
FoxNews.com columnist John Roberts (not the Socialist Chief Justice) wrote of more secretive and anti-American double-dealing in a January 22, 2014 online column " 'Secret dealing'? Emails show cozy relationship between EPA, environmental groups" which "suggest senior policy officials at the Environmental Protection Agency and environmental groups are working closely to kill the Keystone XL pipeline."
Gina McCarthy was appointed head of the Environmental Protection Agency in July 2013 in a strictly party-line vote in the Senate, so it would appear to me that all the sneakiness and socialist double-dealing will continue on its merry way to the corrupt Oval Office of POTUS. Those environmentalists were no doubt thrilled with McCarthy's ascension to EPA Head and probably began conniving and covertly planning the final demise of any possibility of a U.S. - Canadian Keystone XL pipeline deal.
Senator John Barrasso, R-WY, was quoted in statement to Fox News, "These damning emails make it clear that the Obama administration has been actively trying to stop this important project for years,"
Senator Barrasso has long advocated for the Canada-to-Texas pipeline's overland construction and Wyoming will be part of the pipeline's long journey to Texas refineries. "Despite the fact that Keystone XL has bipartisan support in Congress and from governors, environmental extremists inside and out of the administration are working behind closed doors to kill it," he said to Fox News.
The emails were obtained under a Freedom of Information Act request by the Energy and Environment Legal Institute (EELI). EELI senior legal fellow Chris Horner told Fox News that "as a government agency, EPA couldn't be seen as overtly trying to kill Keystone, but was reaching out to environmental groups for other ideas on how to do it." Horner said "many EPA staffers share a policy agenda with environmental groups, a common cause illuminated in the emails his group obtained."
These corrupting emails on this Keystone XL pipeline issue are part and parcel of many other issues on the socialistic agenda of Obama and his slippery accomplices in the environmental fields; coal being one of the major problematic ones which could put many thousands of workers on the unemployment lines for which Obama would gladly pay them for long extended terms, perhaps years.
But hey, Obama muses, who's paying for all this largesse? YOU are, sucker, he says, pointing at you and me.
Gerald A. “Jerry” McConnell, 92, of Hampton, died Sunday, February 19, 2017, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, Mass., surrounded by his loved ones. He was born May 27, 1924 in Altoona, Pa., the fifth son of the late John E. and Grace (Fletcher) McConnell.
Jerry served ten years with the US Marine Corps and participated in the landing against Japanese Army on Guadalcanal and another ten years with the US Air Force. After moving to Hampton in 1957 he started his community activities serving in many capacities.
He shared 72 years of marriage with his wife Betty P. (Hamilton) McConnell. In addition to his wife, family members include nieces and nephews.
