The Obama Administration and other Democrats in Congress are embarrassing this nation with their lies, deception and political spin. This is not about being a Republican or Democrat, or a conservative or liberal. This is not about being black or white or non-white.
This is about being a citizen of the United States of America!
I receive calls to my radio show regularly from people who came to this country from another country. They consistently tell me that people all over the world want the freedoms that we have. But we are letting them slip away.
They see this administration and the bureaucracy, some of which it inherited, going the way of trying to become imperial dictators much like the countries they left. They see too many Americans clueless about the gradual take-away and intimidation of our liberties. But they also see an America that's not too far gone to make a serious correction in our direction.
Look at Syria, Ukraine, Cuba and Venezuela, just to name a few in the news lately. And when the clueless wake up to discover that that could happen here, it will be too late! Wake up people! Save the save-able so we can save our nation!
Susan Rice is still defending the lies she told the American people immediately following the attack on our embassy in Benghazi. Four Americans were killed and it might have been avoidable! She still insists that the information she had was the best available at that time. Senator John McCain serves on a congressional review committee that clearly says it was not the best information the administration had about what sparked the violence. It was not sparked by an anti-Muslim video!
President Obama and the Democrats consistently lied about ObamaCare before and after its passage. They now conveniently avoid talking about it as much as possible. To quote many radio show listeners, "There is nothing affordable about the Affordable Care Act."
And to "pass it so you can find out what is in it" as Nancy Pelosi says is to perceive their supporters as dumber than dumb, and to perceive the rest of us as just plain dumb.
Now, the Democrats want people to believe that losing your job or having your work hours reduced because of ObamaCare is a "family value", or liberation from an undesirable job you are locked into. Over 20 million unemployed people would like to just have a job in this lousy economy!
Just yesterday, Senator Harry Reid stated on the floor of the United States Senate that the horror stories about ObamaCare are "all untrue". Really! Get a grip and come back from La-La Land. Ask Julie Boonstra, whose situation we shared right here several times this week.
The president says there isn't a smidgen of corruption at the Internal Revenue Service. Oh really! Ask Catherine Englebrect, who shared her story of intimidation by the IRS and other federal agencies during a recent congressional hearing. Ask Dr. Ben Carson, who was audited after he publicly criticized ObamaCare at a national prayer breakfast in front of President Obama.
Coincidence? There are about 155 million workers and about 315 million citizens in this country, and we are supposed to believe it was a coincidental random selection to audit him. Right!
The Obama Administration and the Democrats don't even try to politically disguise their lies and deception anymore because they are not held accountable by most of the mainstream media. Although it's an uphill battle, some of us are providing alternative sources of information, facts and the truth.
The truth may not set all of us free, but it is liberating enough of us to save our nation. We have some pens, phones, websites and microphones also, and we will continue to use them to fight for the future of our nation.
Giving up is not an option. I would not want to try to explain that to my grandchildren. That would be even more embarrassing than what we are enduring.
