Whenever he speaks, we know the President likes to stock the room with loyal fans. That way, he can count on a roar of applause when he's done lying. But, what happens when he can't control the audience makeup? What if he was, say, in a foreign country where he doesn't enjoy the lofty 39% approval rating he has back home?
Well, yesterday he found out. After a joint presser with Prime Minister Mark Ruttethanking of the Netherlands, he thanked the crowd for listening, and received a standing ovation.He enjoyed an enthusiastic response.He was greeted with a lukewarm reception.There was a smattering of applause.
