"It's complicated, so we shouldn't be surprised that it's complicated for people who have never thought they'd be able to have insurance. No matter how good the bargain is, it's especially challenging for folks who are looking at it for the first time. That's why they're so vulnerable. With patience and empathy, you look these people in the eye. And the first thing you do is you calm them down. The first thing you do is let them know that there's no reason to be embarrassed that it's complicated. How many people have you spoken to you can tell by the look on their face they're almost embarrassed to asks you the questions, because they don't want to feel stupid?"These poor simpletons. Thank God the Democrats are here to take care of them!
"You know, that's the real world. I mean, I never got health care by going on a website, or doing all my research and calling up Blue Cross and saying 'hey, I want plan A,B, C.' I always went with a health insurance agent. And, I think you're foolish, with all due respect, if you go on a website and you think you're going to figure out what the right health care for you is."Finally, yesterday, we had a delightful press conference with Harry Reid. In it, he was asked if the latest delay in the implementation of ObamaCare might give conservatives ammunition with which to target the President's terrible, poorly planned, unsustainable healthcare scam. Reid parroted Kathleen Sebelius by denying there was any hiccup at all. There is no delay, no extension, and no problem, got it? Then he went to claim that the extension he says doesn't exist is necessary because people are basically morons who are uneducated in the ultra-complex ways of the internet. "There's no hiccup or delay!" Reid wailed. "We had hundreds of thousands of people who tried to sign up and didn't get through. There are some people who are not like my grandchildren who can handle everything so easily on the internet, and these people need a little extra time." Again, please note the left-wing lunacy that "extra time" is somehow completely different than "an extension." So, remember. If you aren't doing what they want you to do, Democrat Joe Biden thinks it's probably because you're stupid, frightened, and embarrassed. If you are doing what they want you to do, Oregon Democrat Congressman Kurt Schrader thinks you're foolish for doing it. If you don't fall into either of these camps, Harry Reid thinks you're probably uneducated, and don't know how to use the internet. Isn't it nice to see the lofty pedestal upon which these guys have placed their voters?
