OR: I went to a bench-clearing charity brawl and a hockey game broke out.

So, what happens when the NYPD and FDNY engage in a 'friendly' charity hockey game? Chaos.

Every year, New York's Finest and New York's Bravest meet for a friendly, good-natured, charity hockey game. OK, so that might be an exaggeration. As they are wont to do in any hockey game, things can occasionally get a bit rough. However, no one has ever seen the kind of absolute chaos that erupted during yesterday's match.

The game was tied 3-3 in the second period when, according to various reports, one of the cops took a swing at one of the firefighters. His FDNY buddies came to the rescue and, with that, it was on. What followed was a twenty minute bench-clearing brawl that involved virtually every player for both teams. This being the internet age, the video is pretty spectacular. No word on whether the cops arrested the firefighters for "assaulting an officer during the performance of his hat trick." Warning, the language in this can get a bit "saucy"
