Are you lucky? You are if you don't live in Mississippi, Maryland, New Jersey or 16 other states where foreclosure starts have increased (in some cases dramatically) since last year at this time. You are lucky if you don't work for one of the 357 Family Dollar Stores that closed this week.

You are lucky if you are not a cattle farmer who need corn to feed his cattle when the corn growers are getting more to use the corn for biodiesel. You are lucky if you are not an IRS target. You are lucky if you don't have to purchase flood insurance. You are lucky if you are able to keep your insurance and your doctor. You are lucky if you don't own GMAC or Allied Financial stock.
