‘King Coyote’, the Pied Piper of Illegal Immigration

Someone is luring thousands of children to come on their own to America where women and children will be welcomed with open arms.
The alarming estimated 80,000-strong exodus of children traveling without parents or other relatives, puts them at risk from “coyote” smugglers who are bringing Central Americans to the U.S. illegally by telling their relatives that children can take advantage of the program and find work in the United States. (CSMonitor, June 8, 2014) That’s not even to mention the thousands of children at grave risk from the billions of dollars a year human trafficking industry that easily preys on children unaccompanied by adults. At any one time, there are 2 million children being trafficked in the global sex trade. (UNICEF). Dreaming of milk and honey in the Land of the Free, the children are shipped to military bases on their hopeful arrival, where they are fed powdered milk from government stores.

“In recent weeks, a tide of young, unaccompanied minors crossing the Texas border illegally has pushed the US immigration system to its breaking point. Unable to cope with the volume of children crossing the border without their parents, immigration authorities have had to find emergency solutions, such as housing thousands in a San Antonio Air Force base, a California Navy base, and a makeshift detention center in Nogales, Ariz.” (CS Monitor) With The Associated Press reporting that the Nogales warehouse is running out of supplies, there is no doubt that the new arrivals are doing without some of the necessities of life in transit. For poverty-stricken, politically endangered women and children in Central America countries who naively believe in President Barack Obama’s trumped up ‘War on Women’, America is the Land of Endless Red Tape rather than the promised Land of Milk and Honey. And parents of migrant children are undoubtedly finding out the hard way that not all coyotes lurk in the countries from which they make their escape. Mothers: Don’t let your children grow up to become entangled in the lairs of coyotes. While Central American children find powdered milk, inoculation and mattresses, children from other countries are still being deported. Isn’t that racist? The Obama administration is throwing money for lawyers and empty rhetoric at the Central America minors finding their way to America. “The Obama administration said Friday that it was starting a program to provide lawyers for children facing deportation as it scrambles to deal with the soaring number of unaccompanied minors illegally crossing the border from Mexico. (New York Times, June 7, 2014) “Under the plan, the federal government will issue $2 million in grants to enroll about 100 lawyers and paralegals to represent immigrant children making their way through the immigration court system. Why is Obama throwing money for lawyers at the migrant children without first guaranteeing their safety in a new land? They haven’t found guarantees for physical safety, homes or the necessities of life, but they’re being pushed through the immigration court system with money for their own lawyers? Not many lawyers go homeless and hungry, but children promised a better life by making their way to America keep body and soul together with powdered milk and emergency rations. For the Obama administration, is it the propagandized Welcome Mat for children fleeing countries marked by political unrest, or “We’ll see you in court”? Rampant confusion for children enticed to cross the American border comes from Obama’s iconic pen. Evidence:. Obama's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), which in 2012 allowed some undocumented immigrants who came to America as minors to defer deportation for two years. Last week, the administration announced guidelines for how these immigrants could defer deportation for a further two years.  For thousands of children ‘Home, Sweet Home’ has become a four-year purgatory. DACA would not apply to anyone coming across the border today. Only undocumented immigrants who were brought to the US as minors before June 15, 2007, are eligible. But there can be no doubt that DACA created the opportunity for misinformation and confusion. In the immigrant world created by Obama, some immigrants are more equal than others. With Obama running immigration, it’s a Charles Dickens’ 19th century with children going to court alone. “We’re taking a historic step to strengthen our justice system and protect the rights of the most vulnerable members of society,” Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. said in a statement. “How we treat those in need, particularly young people who must appear in immigration proceedings — many of whom are fleeing violence, persecution, abuse or trafficking — goes to the core of who we are as a nation.” (NY Times) Holder should be told to cut the hypocrisy. He and others in the Obama administration haven’t a clue about what to do about the migrating children. Why is the migration of children through unsecured American borders happening? "Word has gotten out around the world about President Obama's lax immigration enforcement policies and it has encouraged more individuals to come to the United States illegally," said Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R) of Virginia, a key broker in immigration reform efforts on Capitol Hill, in a statement last week. (CSMonitor) Throwing money for lawyers and political rhetoric at migrant children does not feed empty bellies and does not keep children safe from human predators out to make money off them. Children from any country should never be pawns for politicians to score election year political points. As many as 80,000 children being lured to the U.S. by outright propaganda is a problem that not even an arrogant Obama can shrug off now that he’s engineered it. Time will dub a new nickname on the propagandizing Barack Obama: ‘King Coyote’.
