Carpetbagging horror.

Gov. Jennifer Granholm nearly destroyed Michigan. Is she about to do the same for California?

California, you've got it all. Wildfires, mudslides, earthquakes, droughts, you name it. You've got every kind of natural disaster we can imagine - and now you have a new one. Hurricane Granholm has blown into town. Better batten down the hatches.
As Governor of Michigan, Jennifer Granholm did everything in her power to destroy the state. People here talk about those years in hushed tones as they recall huddling around garbage cans, burning corn husks and old attic insulation for warmth. When, in 2011, term limits finally removed her from Lansing, the citizens clawed their way up the basement stairs, rubbing their eyes as they stepped into the light for the first time in 8 years. Then came the bone-chilling rumors. "She's slated to become a member of Obama's cabinet" some said. Others insisted that Obama had tapped her to destroy an entire nation as a Supreme Court Justice. Then ...nothing. Granholm vanished. OK, fine. Actually, she moved out of Michigan as quickly as she could, headed for California, and became a teacher at UC. Now, people are speculating that she may have set her sights on destroying a bigger state.

From the San Francisco Chronicle:
Already, there's buzz around University of California President Janet Napolitano, the former governor of Arizona and Homeland Security secretary, and former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, now teaching at UC Berkeley and a star endorser of the Ready for Hillary political action committee. "Two women - two governors - with great accomplishments, with California ties are back in California," said Democratic strategist Mary Hughes, a driving force behind closethegapca.org, which works to elect women to the state Legislature. "Both of them clearly have at least another chapter, if not more, of public service" ahead of them, Hughes said. "The question is how the 2016 election will change their opportunity."
So far Granholm is denying that she has any future political aspirations ...but don't be fooled. A locust never stops eating. If you live in California, you already have our sympathy. However, if you see Granholm coming, heed my advice and run. You know not the horror into which you are about to be thrust! If you think your state's financial, regulatory, and environmental woes can't get any worse, take if from those of us who survived Granholm's reign of terror. It can always get worse. If you need evidence of how bad things can get, just examine the file footage below.
