Both Michelle Obama and David Cameron will get an ‘F’ for sticking their noses into the food chain

Welcome to a government we’ll-tell-you-what-to-eat world

The supermarket ‘talking’ shopping cart Michelle Obama will use to push her over-the-top approved food list is a power push over unsuspecting masses, but would serve as the perfect replacement for her husband’s omnipresent rising sun logo.
Six years ago, Barack Hussein Obama arrogantly made himself the rising sun in a logo by putting the sun under his stylized ‘O’, but his wife may have inadvertently come up with a better logo symbol to represent the empty life Barack Obama is bequeathing Americans: Michelle’s government-controlled supermarket shopping cart. Across a post-2008 broken America, the abandoned shopping cart lot is a symbol of poverty in too many neighbourhoods. The shopping cart, pitifully packed with every scrap they own, is also a tottering means of conveyance for the legions of the homeless. Only the most arrogant rulers who would speak down to the proletariat through a Teleprompter could come up with a ‘talking’ shopping cart. For almost six long years, Barack Obama has worked steadfastly to break America. His rising sun logo can no longer put a smiley face on it.

Add to the empty supermarket carts found at thousands of abandoned properties in cities like Detroit, Michelle Obama’s specialized supermarket carts that will notify shoppers when they’ve selected the right amount of healthy foods, described in a new 80-page report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Now that they’ve lured almost 50 percent of Americans onto food stamps, they feel they have the right to tell them what they can eat. EAG News Reports:
“The high-tech carts – which would cost every grocery store about $30,000 to provide – would be physically divided and color coded to help consumers select approved food items. It would also “have a system installed so that when the shopping cart reaches its healthy ‘threshold’ it would congratulate the customer,” FreeBeacon.com reports. “In case that’s not creepy enough, the feds want grocery store employees to serve as government “ambassadors” who can “redirect” food stampers toward healthy items by explaining the various incentive programs and nutritional information. “Michelle Obama and her minions also envision turning the grocery store into a “classroom” where shoppers can receive cooking tips and advice from dieticians – presumably ones employed by the federal government. “The feds also want stores to use better signage, lighting and product placement so customers can easily find the food their government thinks they should be eating. They also want stores to set aside more shelf space for the government-preferred products. "While the feds could easily ensure healthier purchases for food stamp participants by clamping down on which products are available to them, the government busybodies want consumers to think they’re making these choices all by themselves. “The feds are following “the principle of self-attribution (which) suggests that when an individual perceives they have the ability to freely choose between options, they are more likely to be satisfied with the choice they make,” the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) report states. “So even though Michelle Obama will be limiting your choices and “nudging” you in the “proper” direction, she wants you to think you’re doing these things voluntarily.”
So now that Obama has gotten away with smearing dissidents of his fundamental transformation of their country as racists, his wife, leading the charge that they should all become astute fruit and vegetable shoppers, is luring them with more free stuff. It must be sheer coincidence that Michelle has now teamed up with her husband’s selfie pal, British Prime Minister David Cameron, to take aim at fatties doing their grocery shopping. Call it ‘One World Order Down at the Local Supermarket’. Over in not-so-merry England, families whose supermarket shop contains food high in fat and sugar are to receive obesity warnings at the checkout, under plans being drawn up by long-nosed health officials. “If the nutritional value of their shopping choices is not considered to be of a high enough standard, a message will appear on the receipt saying they could be putting their health in danger.” (Daily Mail, July 19, 2014) The holier-than-thou, politically correct perfect Cameron government will likely include a reminder informing shoppers that the paper receipt, warning them they could be putting their own health in danger, is recycled. “The message – condemned last night as nannying, intrusive and offensive – may also suggest healthier options. (Daily Mail)
“Public Health England, the Government’s health quango, says it is in talks with major supermarkets such as Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Lidl to bring in the controversial policy. "It says the proposals will help people ‘make choices that are better for their health’. "Nothing has been finalised, but the organisation confirmed warnings on receipts were being considered. “Critics said it was appalling that the state would be spying on shopping baskets. "Philip Davies, Tory MP for Shipley, said: ‘It seems the NHS now stands for the Nannying Health Service. No doubt they will next be proposing the tills refuse to scan any item that might be unhealthy.’ “Chris Snowdon, of the Institute of Economic Affairs, said: ‘Families will be offended to receive such a receipt – and rightly so. This is a completely impractical gimmick.’ “The plans come as the traffic-light system of labelling foods – giving the amount of salt, fat and sugar in the food a rating of red, amber or green, and once blocked by the manufacturers – is now widespread.”
The quango’s chief executive Duncan Selbie, who wants to share health information with top supermarkets to enable them to develop software that could search through a customer’s purchases to see whether they were of nutritional value, is Michelle Obama in a pinstriped suit. So now that we have the Invasion of the Supermarket 2014 both in America and overseas, how long will it be before the leaders of other western countries join the USA and Britain to control the eating habits of their civilian masses? Both Michelle Obama and David Cameron will get an ‘F’ for sticking their noses into the food chain. The invasion of the supermarket is not about health. It’s about the opportunism of politicians to push their names and pictures at John Q. Public, no matter what the population is eating. Politicians and their wives, who ride on pictures and name recognition, made a Christopher Columbus-type discovery on how to keep lazy incumbents in office for their lifetime. Watch for mega packaging with pictures of Michelle Obama and David Cameron on the very food you eat. While they pretend to care that you may not be buying the right kind of foods for your children, what they’re really saying when they advise “Don’t buy sugary and fatty foods” is “Don’t see anybody else’s pictures or selfies but mine and my husband’s. And remember them on Election Day.”
