Did Ben Carson just tip his hand about a 2016 presidential bid?

Dr. Ben Carson remains one of the big question marks hovering over the 2016 field of Republican presidential candidates. Despite knowing very few of his actual policy beliefs (aside from some troubling gun control remarks that he has since recanted) conservatives are eager for the doctor to make a run. It's easy to see why. He's obviously extremely intelligent, has an unassailable resume, and looks "presidential" in a way that Barack Obama has never been able to manage. In short, he appears to be the kind of grown-up who stands in stark contrast to the current administration - even if he's yet to outline all of his positions.

Still, he's been remarkably cagey about his intentions, something that has frustrated his fans. That may be changing. Carson appeared yesterday on America’s Newsroom with Bill Hemmer, where he said the following:
“I certainly didn’t give it much thought early on. But every place I go now - I was at a Costco book signing last night - there are just hundreds of people. I mean, so enthusiastic and it happens every place I go. Y'know, I can’t simply ignore it. So I am starting to think about it. But it certainly wasn’t on my bucket list when I retired. ...But I'm thinking about it.”
Take it with a grain of salt, but - to me - that certainly sounds like movement towards a "yes." What do you guys think? Has he sufficiently undone the damage of his earlier gun control statements? Is he going to make a run? Talk to us!
