Anti-Israel groups who operate on campus under the guise of wanting a peaceful resolution to the Arab-Israeli conflict

Terrorist Featured on York Student Group Website

TORONTO – B’nai Brith Canada is concerned by a recent posting online by Students Against Israeli Apartheid at York University (SAIA) in Toronto. SAIA uploaded to their Facebook page a link to an interview with a member of Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade, a terrorist organization.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade is considered to be a terrorist organization in Canada for use of suicide attacks, as well as other violent means to achieve its objectives. The terrorist is quoted as saying, “We will not rest until we liberate our occupied land.” “B’nai Brith Canada is deeply concerned about the messages that anti-Israel activists might be giving students returning to campus this fall” said Frank Dimant, CEO, B’nai Brith Canada, “We call on administrators at all Canadian universities to listen very carefully to the rhetoric coming from anti-Israel groups who operate on campus under the guise of wanting a peaceful resolution to the Arab-Israeli conflict. “As Canada’s senior Jewish human rights organization, we also insist that adequate measures be taken to ensure the safety and security of all Jewish and pro-Israel students on campus.”
