The Scottish Independence vote is set for September 18th, 2014, and polls portray a close vote.
Whether the Yes vote wins or not, what will be the impact on England and Scotland's shared Monarchy?
My bold recommendation is Queen Elizabeth should Crown her Scottish heir to avoid any succession or constitutional monarchy dispute in Scotland. It is also quite possible that Prince William, not Prince Charles, could be crowned as the King of Scotland. This action would promote a popular acceptance of the Coronation in Scotland, and position England with an optimum nexus with Scotland.
If the Together Is Better vote wins, it still will be wise for Elizabeth and England's leadership to encourage the Coronation of William as King of Scotland. William and Kate, and their young growing family, are seen as darlings of the world and beacons of the future.
Whether the vote is 'Aye' or 'Nay', William's Scottish Coronation would help to effectively bind the relations of these two nations for the years to come.
