Has Insanity Taken Over the Voters?

Has Insanity Taken Over the Voters?
There is literally no proof of ownership for any one person having first quoted the saying "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results," but because he was such a clever gent with words and many other worldly things, I'm inclined to give credit to Albert Einstein.
If, as declared by Wikipedia, Einstein developed the general theory of relativity, then he gets my vote. Anyone who can unravel the mysteries of relativity (or even relatives) has to be a pretty smart cookie, and I'm prone to go along with smart people. Which leads me to the conclusion that there seems to be a "whole lot" of not very smart people in the state of New Hampshire; after all, when a great number of the voters elect a particular candidate who is not a proven assurance for success, then after four years in office, reject her continuance in that office, they appear to have succeeded. But what can we say when only two years later those same voters succumb to Mr. Einstein's version of 'insanity' and try it (elect the failed candidate) again? That seems to me to be a signal of insanity or its cousin, "severe-dumb-headedness". It may also be incurable stupidity not to recognize a king-sized failure. Then again it may be a statement regarding the shortcomings of an entire state to be unable to produce a better candidate from the same party. The particular race I am focusing on here is the battle for Congressional Representative for the First District of New Hampshire where the voters had an obvious "brain-cramp" in 2012 and voted copy-cat liberal Carol Shea-Porter back into that office after having rejected her in the 2010 elections. Now after watching Shea-Porter repeat her "I'm with Obama and Shaheen" copy-cat performance so reminiscent of her first ventures in Congress, she is asking voters to adopt the insanity of doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.

The combination of Obama, Shaheen and Shea-Porter has been responsible for a drastic increase in unemployment

The voters are not going to get different results if they vote for Shea-Porter; she is a walking example of the old saying of "insanity" voting. She is still in favor of big government which brings excessive spending, excessive national debts, excessive taxes. Obama and Shaheen are her models to follow for government growth, such as wasteful spending on ObamaCare which brings higher taxes and more national debt, which has significantly increased in the Obama years to $17.5 TRILLION from the less than a third of that when he took office. The combination of Obama, Shaheen and Shea-Porter has been responsible for a drastic increase in unemployment as well. We need to get some conservatism into our United States Senate by electing Scott Brown and in the House by sending another conservative, Frank Guinta, back to the House. Now, as most of the people of the United States know, New Hampshire is a relatively "hot" political state and is watched by many who participate in the ageless game of "politix" and it has been a beacon state for the introduction of new candidates who are desirous of election to higher national office, POTUS, in particular. The quadrennial game of running for the country's highest elected office brings many thousands of "wannabee" players along with their entourages of avid and active supporters swarming into New Hampshire for the sweepstakes known as the Presidential Primary held usually during the month of February prior to the designated National Election day on the first Tuesday in November every four years. But presidential politics is often sidetracked by the local statewide office elections including national government offices such as United States Senator, United States Representatives to Congress where the 'hot and heavy' battles to vie for these national seats in government are held every two years.

New Hampshire has the unique attraction of "First in the Nation" primary

New Hampshire has the unique attraction of "First in the Nation" primary and its concurrent "Earliest Poll Opening" (12:01 AM on Election Day) except for the recent years' designated states with earlier dates for Election Day. A small town in the far northern part of the state call Dixville Notch in the Great North Woods has the distinction to be the first town to open and close their voting polls and proclaim the winners to the entire nation. The opening and closing are done in a very short time and is authorized by the fact that the entire bloc of registered voters are present and voting leaving no reason for the polls to remain open any longer after the last voter casts a ballot. The voting takes place in a majestic and famous hotel called The Balsams Grand Resort Hotel which is sited on 15,000 acres of the 31,000-acre town of Dixville Notch, making the site of the Balsams bigger than the entire island of Manhattan, New York. Every president from Dwight D. Eisenhower to George W. Bush has made a political appearance at the Balsams voting center in Dixville Notch, sensing the value of the national news exposure for election fodder. It is noteworthy to point out that our current POTUS office holder did not continue the coveted campaign trip to New Hampshire's Balsams Hotel apparently deigning it unimportant or unworthy of his presence. Perhaps its absence of a presence of Islamic religiosity made it insignificant to him. Information for the election process and geographical data can be found here.
