Climbing the stairway to heaven

It’s interesting to note that the Democrats are attempting to use the global warming/climate change “crisis” to divert attention from the many other crises for which they are responsible. It’s like that cheap carney magician pulling yards of silk out of his sleeve after making a rabbit disappear into his hat.

Interestingly enough, global warming is one of the few crises that the Obama administration has not created, but is using to advance its agenda. They are certainly responsible for enough scandals and failures to warrant a Constitutional Convention. But it seems that every time a scandal or crisis pops up, all the usual suspects are out stumping for the default crisis to divert attention away from what is really happening. This is the equivalent of attempting to build a staircase to heaven, as it relies on a great deal of blind faith in the stupidity of American voters. And while admittedly, there is a large degree of ignorance among many Americans, I for one, still believe that you can’t purchase complete acquiescence with baubles and trinkets. And the polls are confirming my thesis, as Obama and the Democrats have sunk so low in the minds of Americans that they have to reach up to touch the bottom. Speaking of bottoms, there are some in Washington that really need kicking, starting with Mr. Big himself and ending with the lowest political appointee in his administration. I don’t know how they did it, but they have co-opted the Pentagon to collude with their deception of the American people by getting the US Military to buy into the global warming myth. The Pentagon recently issued a paper claiming that climate change was a “threat multiplier” for the US. Other myths that the military is propagating on behalf of the Obama Administration include the conceit that “diversity” is the US Army’s greatest strength. Following the assassination of 13 American soldiers at Ft. Hood by crazed Jihadist Maj. Nidal Hasan, an Army psychiatrist; the Administration glossed it over by calling the despicable act ‘workplace violence,’ as if the Army was an arm of the postal service. In fact, immediately after the shooting the Army’s chief of staff, Gen. George Casey claimed that we shouldn’t “jump to conclusions now based on little snippets of information that have come out. As great a tragedy as this was, it would be a shame if our diversity became a casualty as well,” This, after it was revealed that all the while Hasan was spraying bullets he was shouting, “Allahu Akbar!”

Perhaps the Administration’s biggest policy failure is the implosion of the Middle East, as ISIS redraws the borders between Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Syria Lebanon, Jordan and possibly Israel. But Obama’s goons consistently refer to the dire threat of global warming, even as American journalists are publicly beheaded. I don’t know about you, but I’m much more concerned about the adverse effects of a bellicose new entity like the Caliphate entering the world stage, than I am about my carbon footprint. The Administration reluctantly agreed to take some sort of action against ISIS, only after the public outcry from the beheadings could no longer be ignored. And the action that’s being taken is so ineffective that it amounts to a waste of resources. Under the might of US Air Force and Navy bombings, ISIS is still able to waltz within a rifle shot of Baghdad with ease. The IRS scandal that would have resulted in a white president’s impeachment and possible incarceration has now gone away after nearly two years of stonewalling. Those ‘lost’ Lois Lerner emails are not lost. They have been deleted to hide the true extent to which the Administration is attempting to impose a coup d’état on the United States. Most Americans can see that there is more than “a smidgeon” of corruption at the IRS, as the tax police was used as a blunt instrument against Republican supporters. And all the while the Administration is attempting to becloud this travesty with dire warnings of climate change. ObamaCare started as a lie and has snowballed into a travesty that is leaving millions of Americans with substandard or no healthcare. And with the spread of Ebola into the Homeland, we realize that the country has been entirely unprepared, despite the placid assurances uttered by Obama and his sock puppet, Dr. Thomas Frieden of the CDC. While we’re on the subject of despicable, Frieden’s chastising the two nurses who contracted the disease for “breaking protocol” is about as low as it gets, since few at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital seemed aware that the CDC had a “protocol.” While being questioned by lawmakers about why there is no travel ban imposed on countries where Ebola is rampant, Frieden explained that if such a ban were implemented, then some Ebola carriers might enter the country undetected through one of the borders. But our biggest threat is climate change. We could go on ad nauseum about the failings of this Administration and its efforts to divert public attention. The trouble is that each and every failure, every scandal, every Benghazi, every ‘Fast & Furious,’ every slimy act committed by and for this narcissist is a step in the stairway. But it isn’t exactly a stairway to heaven, as it’s headed in the other direction and I fear that things will get much worse before they get any better.
