Obama’s oxymoronic policy of leading from behind will continue to endanger our nation

Playing Russian Roulette with Ebola

Playing Russian Roulette with Ebola
As West Africa struggles to bring an outbreak of the Ebola virus under control, the American government works diligently, not to keep the virus from entering our borders, but to put people in charge whom they think can put the best political spin on the issue! And their obliging servants at MSNBC make their best effort to convince us to trust what our government is saying to us.

While Rachel Maddow, on MSNBC praises President Obama, New York Governor Cuomo and New York City Mayor de Blasio for doing such a wonderful job in controlling the spread of the Ebola virus in our country, her praise comes on the same day it is announced that a doctor infected with Ebola has been out and about until he started noticing symptoms of Ebola. Not to worry, they tell us, a person infected with Ebola is not contagious until their temperature reaches 104 degrees. They then continue with the line that NO ONE can spread it to another person until that point. Now, I’m not a scientist, but I can tell you from my education in statistical analysis that no study could have been done that guarantees this theory to be 100% true. And as a person who hasn’t given up my reasoning abilities to leftist propagandists, when the logic test fails in someone’s argument, I smell a rat. While the experts may be sincere in their assertions when they are telling us to "relax, we are all safe", logic tells us that when there is a deadly disease going around and it could potentially mutate into something more dangerous, we should take extra precautions to cover any margin of error in the opinion of even the best experts in the field. As Maddow praises those Democrat officials for all they are doing, she ignores the fact that they actually didn’t do enough, since a doctor that became infected by Ebola infected patients was traveling around the city while Ebola was incubating in his body! So, Ms. Maddow, we’re to trust all these partisan political hacks for the Obama administration while they are playing Russian Roulette with what is in effect a pistol loaded with a deadly contagion? Meanwhile, the governors of NY and New Jersey took it upon themselves to quarantine for 21 days those coming from high-risk areas, although they have backed off the original strictness of their new policy, allowing them to be quarantined in their homes rather than at a quarantine compound. As for the Ebola czar that President Obama selected, Ron Klain, the President has so far minimized his significance, not even introducing or acknowledging Klain at his first meeting with the President. Obama’s oxymoronic policy of leading from behind will continue to endanger our nation as national and world events continue to arise that require an immediate response, rather than the Administration’s typical response of relying on a few of his closest advisors to filter all events through an ideological sieve before doing anything.
