In 2008, Michelle Obama bitterly declared, “For the First Time in My Adult Lifetime, I’m Really Proud of My Country.” At the time, she was in her mid-forties and was apparently celebrating the success that her spouse Barack Obama had achieved in American politics.
For millions of other Americans, Barack Obama’s “success” signaled a dangerous and slippery slope with the potential to inflict considerable damage to the social, economic, political, military, and cultural norms of American life.
Six years later, the cynics and critics of Barack Obama have been proven absolutely spot on! Six years of Obama have damn near destroyed our one great nation.
However, on November 4, 2014, serendipity produced a monster wave of political common sense which left the US Congress in the hands of patriotic Americans, and the evil empire of Barack Obama badly damaged and on the brink of destruction.
Thus, millions of Americans can now proudly declare that, “For the first time in over six years, I am really proud of my country!”
