A caller to my radio show, Dave, wanted to remind the world that there is still some racism in America, and that is why President Obama is having such a hard time. There probably is some racism somewhere in America, but that's not why President Obama is having a hard time. Then Dave said "people hate the fact that he's black."
I lost it!
I am sick and tired of people like Dave and other Democrats blaming race to cover the failed policies of this president and his administration. I tried to share with Dave some of the failures of Obama’s policies, but I ran out of time during our Rapid Fire segment, which subjects every call to a one-minute time limit. It wouldn’t have mattered anyway, because to him it was all about Obama being black.
So here is a more extensive, although not complete, list of the failed policies of this president that liberals and Democrat voters will not acknowledge. Instead, they consistently execute distraction tactics to control the national narrative.
The president's immigration declaration last week is going to create chaos politically and practically. He intentionally picked a political fight with the new Republican-controlled Congress, rather than work with them for a bi-partisan solution after they are officially in charge on January 6, 2015. Practically, more and more illegals will try to get here to take advantage of this pandering, and it's a slap in the face to those who followed the law to become workers and citizens.
When the president said in his immigration declaration speech that Republicans needed to pass a bill so he would not have to go it alone, he wanted the immigration bill passed by the Democrat-controlled Senate. That bill is not "amnesty lite". It is amnesty, pure and simple, which is a non-starter for the Republicans.

ObamaCare is a failed law that was passed using deception on the American people. The president and the Democrats are noticeably silent on the fact that it has not lowered insurance premiums as promised, more people are now not insured, and families have a lot fewer choices for coverage and being able to keep their doctors as promised.
Economic growth is anemic because the “stimulus” spending blowout of nearly $1 trillion five years ago did not stimulate growth. It may have helped to stop the decline with most of the money propping up government spending, but a 2 percent growth rate in the gross domestic product, which has been the annualized average during Obama’s presidency, is less than half the growth capacity of this economy.
Anemic economic growth has produced a record low labor participation rate. Too many people have been forced to give up looking for a job, or forced to accept a part-time job just to survive. Consequently, more and more people are on food stamps and welfare programs.
The president's energy policies are trying to force coal and fossil fuels out of business, while trying to force "green energy" crap down our throats. Green energy alternatives have not proved to be cost effective, and they are destroying millions of jobs that families depend on.
Foreign policy! What foreign policy? There is no foreign policy strategy other than to react to everything happening in the world. After American lives were lost to liberate Iraq from a brutal dictator, the Obama administration allowed parts of the country to fall back into the hands of an even more brutal terrorist force called ISIS.
President Obama made an idle "red line" threat to Syria about its deadly civil war, while Iran and Russia continue to disregard any consequences of their actions from a president they do not respect. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's "reset button" for our relationship with Russia didn't work too well.
Instead of a policy of peace through strength and clarity, we have uncertainty, indecisiveness and lack of clarity relative to U.S. foreign policy.
Most people are well aware of the ongoing investigations of the IRS and Benghazi cover-ups, the over-reach of the EPA, NLRB and other federal agencies, a broken promise (another one!) on transparency, and runaway federal spending with no end in sight.
But then again, flaming liberals are not most people.
President Obama's report card is not about race. Look at the facts!
Sell that excuse somewhere else, because I'm not buying it.
