Deliberate attempt to subvert our sovereignty, pander to a hostile sentiment that supports your criminal quest to redistribute America's wealth, independence, founding values

That’s amnesty!

This week I would like to highlight some of the wisdom of the American people. Jonathan Gruber is so wrong. It's not "stupid voters," it's the stupidity of arrogance of people like Gruber who live off the trough of taxpayer money, then laugh at them as they abscond with millions of dollars.
The following are just a few of the many excellent Facebook responses Thursday after President Obama’s announcement of his amnesty plan for illegals in this country. Scott Davis: Obama: "This is not Amnesty." Well if you're declaring - by Executive Order - that 'illegal' immigrants can no longer be deported or prosecuted, that's Amnesty! You're allowing millions to be immune from the consequences of entering and living in this country without permission! There is a naturalization process, afforded by law for over a century, and these people chose not to honor our good will. Would their native countries grant us Amnesty, give us preferential treatment over actual citizens, and allocate free benefits to trespassing foreigners at taxpayer expense? And we're the racists? Without our laws, sovereignty, and internationally recognized borders, we are no longer a nation; we are a convenient doormat left to rot beneath the insatiable scorn of anti-American transients, radicals, and usurpers. For those countless legal immigrants who actually respected America and the innate opportunity she represents, they did not need a government declaration to pardon any conceivable contempt for our laws. Those individuals merely sought to declare their undying gratitude through the legitimacy of their actions. If you're going to sell out the American people, our Constitutional republic, solely to fulfill your race victimization agenda and stuff the ballot box with an inexhaustible foreign demographic, at least have the dignity, Mr. President, to admit it to our face. Your Executive Order is not a memo, it's not a humanitarian mandate, it's a deliberate attempt to subvert our sovereignty and pander to a hostile sentiment that supports your criminal quest to redistribute America's wealth, independence, and founding values.

Bill Hirzel: The reason that we cannot secure our border is that our government provides only incentives for illegal aliens to come to this country, no deterrents! Jobs, welfare, healthcare, no interior enforcement of our immigration laws, and our public schools are all magnets that draw illegal aliens to this country. However, one of the biggest draws is birthright U.S. citizenship for their children. They all realize that if they enter the U.S. and give birth to a child here, they have a foot in the door for their entire family. Under current law the U.S. citizen child can petition for visas for there family once they become adults. Making it even easier, and establishing the precedent that illegal alien parents can gain legal status without having to wait for the U.S. citizen child to reach adulthood will undoubtedly make the problem of anchor babies exponentially worse. We should be dong the opposite, doing away with the law that allows birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens. Those on the left claim that it cannot be done without doing away with the 14th amendment to the U.S. Constitution. However, that is incorrect. If one reads the Senate debate regarding the passage of the 14th amendment it is clear that children of aliens who are illegally in this country were never intended to be entitled to birthright U.S. citizenship. A change of the Immigration and Nationality Act would correct the problem. For the entire time I served in the Border Patrol the politicians in DC constantly tried to address border security through increasing the size of the Patrol. While that made since to a point, it was actually just a political gesture to provide cover, but no real results....The solution short of using force to stop illegal entries is to remove the incentives that draw illegal aliens to this country, and not legally recognize any alien who was not legally admitted to this country through one of our ports of entry. Any alien who enters this country without inspection should be quickly deported. Any appeals or due process should be carried out in the alien's country of origin through the U.S. Embassy, not here in the U.S. I am not saying that we undertake mass round-ups and deportations, but that we not provide any legal status for those illegal aliens already here, and that if they are encountered, they are deported. Scott Bowers: If a President knew how to lead, he would work with congress. He would not be constantly on the road placing blame on them. That is not a leader. Consistently acting unilaterally is an abuse of power and what the framers sought to prevent in the Constitution. If he hasn't the skills or maturity to negotiate, he forces Congress to act by announcing a unilateral action on undocumented immigrants. This is a very immature move and should be judged as such. Many in this country will agree with a move like this because they will allow their emotions to think for them. Changes clearly need to be made, but we have a Constitution which guides our government on how they are developed. Law is not emotional and emotions shouldn't change the law! The lawmakers through careful consideration should make the change if necessary. The terms "executive order" and "prosecutorial discretion" need to be more clearly defined and limited to prevent justifiable licensure.
