All that’s missing now is Team Obama’s fraudulent spinning and self-congratulations

A Win for Iran



The disastrous deal with Iran is effectively done. That may not officially be acknowledged at the moment, amidst talk of gaps still to be closed and the prospect that a further extension may be needed to complete the negotiations.

The reality, nonetheless, is that Iran has already gotten from President Obama what it wants. That is: First, legitimation of its nuclear program – including facilities and activities unmistakably tied to Tehran’s decades-long pursuit of The Bomb. And second, relief from U.S. and international sanctions that, for a time, created real costs for the mullahs as they sought to acquire the means to achieve their two most ominous ambitions – wiping Israel off the map and bringing about “a world without America.” All that’s missing now is Team Obama’s fraudulent spinning and self-congratulations.
