Obama: You're not allowed an opinion on immigration unless you're Native American.

According to virtually every poll, Barack Obama's unilateral amnesty is as unpopular as it is illegal. Even Hispanics, who were supposed to be cheering, are less than thrilled. So, when you've done something that almost everyone thinks is a terrible idea, what does a good community organizer do?
That's right. He declares the opinion of millions of legal citizens invalid while simultaneously labeling them all racists. Obama spoke on the 24th in Chicago, where he said:
“If you look at the history of immigration in this country, each successive wave, there have been periods where the folks who were already here suddenly say, well, I don't want those folks. Even though the only people who have the right to say that are some Native Americans."
In other words, if you're not a descendent of indigenous peoples, you have no right to your opinion on amnesty. It doesn't matter that you're a citizen. Your viewpoint is invalid because - as with a lot of things lately - Obama 'said so.' He began by invoking Japan - a nation which, ironically, is notorious for imposing racial homogeny and has some of the strictest immigration laws on Earth:

"If you go to -- I was just traveling in Asia -- you go to Japan, they don't have problems with certain folks being discriminated against because mostly everybody is Japanese. You know? But here, part of what’s wonderful about America is also what makes our democracy hard sometimes, because sometimes we get attached to our particular tribe, our particular race, our particular religion, and then we start treating other folks differently."
See? If you're against ignoring immigration law and deferring deportation of millions of illegals, you're just a racist who's "attached to his tribe." Even if you're Mexican, and you came here legally, you can only dislike Obama's executive actions because you hate Latinos. Of course, the race argument completely ignores the undeniable fact that many of those "successive waves" throughout our history were comprised of whites - particularly Irish, Eastern European, and Italian immigrants. It also ignores the fact that those "waves" - regardless of race and religion - were coming here legally. Our current "wave" didn't comply with the law, and neither has our President. As we've said a thousand times before, if you're coming here legally, no one should have a problem with it. But hey, this is Obama. He's got to stir up division somehow, and he'd hate to let facts get in the way. The President also went back to the hilarious "rule of law" well, suggesting that we're all immigrants to whom the law applies equally:
"Whether we cross the Atlantic, or the Pacific, or the Rio Grande, we all shared one thing, and that's the hope that America would be the place where we could believe as we choose, and pray as we choose, and start a business without paying a bribe, and that we could vote in an election without fearing reprisal, and that the law would be enforced equally for everybody, regardless of what you look like or what your last name was."
I'm not seeing the phrase "Unless your name is Barack Obama" in the official transcript, but it must be in there somewhere...
