Mary Landrieu -- Democrat -- 561,099 -- 44.1
Significantly, the Landrieu loss leaves the Democrats without a single senator or governor in the whole of Dixie, nine states stretching from the Carolinas to Texas.
Hooray, The GOP will run the Senate with 54 senators.
