A few things are becoming painfully clear. The first is that the Progressive wing of the Republican Party will do anything in its power to avoid any perception of agreeing with the Tea Party or Conservative public.
It is becoming more and more apparent that big money donors are holding the Republicans hostage and forcing the party to move to the center. One has to wonder what it is they fear.
Regardless of what we are being told, many Americans are under stress. Our debt is too much. We are losing our status and respect. Our military is being cut and our veterans aren't getting the care they deserve.
Our education system is bound up in ridiculous Common Core standards. States Rights are nearly non-existent, and the racial divide widens every day.
Americans, especially Baby Boomers and veterans, understand what we've lost because they remember what we had. Soon no one will remember our contributions to the world and the rewritten history will hide the truth.
We do not need another Clinton or Bush in the White House. They are part of the problem, not the solution.
