The wholesale slaughter of French citizens at the hands of Islamic terrorists should prompt the question that we need to ask ourselves: “Why are we not allowed to defend ourselves?”
Seems like a simple question. Sadly it continually yields only a simple answer from those that deny us our Constitutional right to possess a weapon that might actually result in our survival. These gun control fanatics don’t trust ordinary citizens who would just like to be able to protect themselves and their families.
They seem to view each and every citizen as a potential mass murderer with the mentality of small children. Even worse, they view each of us as someone who might resist being dominated politically by these very same gun control controllers.
But in the event that the vast majority of those who merely want to make sure that they have both the means and ability to defend themselves against violent Islamic extremists are allowed by a nanny state to own weapons of their own, it is increasingly probably that the need for such weapons will decrease.
I can hear you now saying “Say what?”
Islamic terrorists have been working to induce terror in populations all over the world for decades. They prefer the easy, undefended targets. Civilians, children, tourists and others who have no means to defend themselves might as well wear an advertising “sandwich board” with a two word message –
Defenseless Victim. It is helpful for the terrorists when they know which of us are the low risk targets that they seek.
Imagine, on the other hand, if that same sandwich board carried the message “
Yes, I’m packing heat, and I know how to use it.” When the playing field is leveled to a much more significant degree, these very same Islamic terrorists will lose a lot of their enthusiasm for combat and their willingness to attack. They might even stay home in the Middle East and pick on someone more their size, like a four-year old little girl.
Unless of course, her Mom or Dad got her a .22 caliber rifle for her last birthday.
