Rabid dogs must be killed, as rapidly as possible. The diseased in the world that kills, maims, rapes and tortures must be eradicated with no short measures being acceptable.

“…this organization”?

The brutal death of Lt. Muath al-Kaseasbeh, the Jordanian Air Force pilot whose aircraft was recently downed resulting in his capture by members of ISIS (or according to the Obama administration, ISIL) was simply videotaped horror. Even more than horror, it was an exercise in intimidation which was an attempt to cow those who might oppose the goals of Islamic State.
Rather than address this Islamic terrorism, Barack Obama, speaking to this senseless death, has been quoted as saying:
"It's just one more indication of the viciousness and barbarity of this organization," said President Obama, who met Tuesday evening with Jordan's King Abdullah in the Oval Office, where he offered his condolences. "And I think it will redouble the vigilance and determination on the part of the global coalition to make sure that they are degraded and ultimately defeated.”
“This organization”? Not these “Islamic terrorists”? Not these “animals”? Not these “sub-human creatures”? Just “this organization”? Really? Just an organization? Does he think that ISIS is just like Diners Club? Obama showed more outrage at both Tea Party Republicans and establishment Republicans for trying to end his unconstitutional actions. His continuing threats to veto legislation approved by a majority party in the Congress is, similar to threats from ISIS, also designed to cow anyone who opposes him in even the most minor way. Civil governance via threats is starting to sound a lot like the behavior of ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah, Al-Nusra Front, al-Qaeda, Al-Shabaab, Ansar al-Sharia, Boko Haram and of course, the Muslim Brotherhood.

It does explain why ISIS and many of the organizations listed are so enamored with exposing their beliefs via social media. Its use as a method of intimidating Muslims who are not active combatants to cave in to their obsessive demands. It reminds one of the film “The Untouchables” and the line: “Nice little place you have here. Be a shame if anything happened to it.” Of course it could be something like: “Nice looking daughter you have there, Mohammed.” Or subtlety might be abandoned altogether with: “It would be a shame if you got set on fire like that Jordanian pilot, wouldn’t it?” This is also the cowardly behavior of someone who makes threats, vicious inhuman threats against not only soldiers, but men and women of all ages and children. Why is such behavior cowardly? It is when the threats come from someone who hides from exposure and is protected by the problem of reaching through the TV or computer screen to retaliate. What should this group be called? The closest that I could come up with would be “rabid dogs.” And do we, as a civilized, world-wide society redouble our vigilance and determination to degrade rabid dogs? Of course not, rabid dogs are simply shot and killed on sight. There is no protection offered for their “civil rights”. They are just killed. Our civilization does not view killing as a form of entertainment, but apparently there are Islamic terrorists who do. Our civilization will move heaven and earth to protect children while Islamic terrorists love killing and raping children since they are defenseless. Apparently Islamic terrorists are not civilized, at least as the rest of the world understands the term. They aren’t even human. They act as thoughtlessly and inhumanely as a rabid dog. Vigilance and determination will not deter these rabid dogs, and the idea that they can be degraded is nonsense that tries to infer that there is a way to moderate the acts of these animals. There is only one method to respond to such things. Rabid dogs must be killed, as rapidly as possible. The diseased in the world that kills, maims, rapes and tortures must be eradicated with no short measures being acceptable. Our problem might simply be that Barack Obama has no concept of what exactly to do with a rabid dog, and keeps trying to see if saying “Nice doggie!” will help.
