“I would treat her with the same respect that I would treat a man, but I wouldn’t lay down and say ‘I’m not going to respond. That would be a sexist sort of response, to say, ‘Oh, my goodness, she deserves to be treated as aggressively because she’s only a woman.’ I would never say that about anybody. I don’t come into our interview thinking, ‘Okay, it’s a woman-versus-man interview.’ I think she has tough questions, he will ask tough questions, I have to be prepared.”Paul's response is pretty much all you'd ever need to hear on the issue - if you were actually interested in his answer. Unfortunately, most of the media is not interested in what the Senator has to say. They're just fishing for minutiae that they can twist into an attack strategy. The real question they should be asking is this: If they're already concerned that Hillary is so weak that she needs protection from an angry Rand Paul, what chance would she have against the likes of ISIS, Putin, Cuba, North Korea, and China? If she's such a delicate little flower that Senator Paul needs to treat her with kid gloves, why in the world does anyone, anywhere, think she's Presidential material?
