Media stupidity: Rand Paul is a big sexist meanie who might pick on poor, defenseless, Hillary
If you haven't heard, Rand Paul is a thin skinned hothead who gets angry whenever a member of the press asks him a question. At least, that's the narrative that Democrats in the media have been trying to build over the course of the last few days.

Never mind the fact that Hillary still won't answer anything at all, Senator Paul could snap at any moment. It's idiotic, but it's all they've got and they're going to run with it. Since they have absolutely no faith in Hillary Clinton's abilities as a candidate they're also trying to sell the ridiculous notion that Paul's "rage" serves as evidence of his deeply ingrained sexism. This argument has even less legitimacy than the temper thing, but if there's an eventual Paul/Clinton debate, they'll want to be able to cover her failures by claiming Paul hates women. Thus, they have to lay some groundwork now. CNN is doing it by playing the “concern game.” The fine folks in Turner-land are worried that Paul is coming off as a hothead and they wonder if he'll be able to rein it in when he's face to face with our achievement-free former First Lady. Here's a clip, via Mediate, which lays out the nascent strategy: Senator Paul propbably can't believe he's actually having to answer soemthing so ridiculous, but he does...
“I would treat her with the same respect that I would treat a man, but I wouldn’t lay down and say ‘I’m not going to respond. That would be a sexist sort of response, to say, ‘Oh, my goodness, she deserves to be treated as aggressively because she’s only a woman.’ I would never say that about anybody. I don’t come into our interview thinking, ‘Okay, it’s a woman-versus-man interview.’ I think she has tough questions, he will ask tough questions, I have to be prepared.”
Paul's response is pretty much all you'd ever need to hear on the issue - if you were actually interested in his answer. Unfortunately, most of the media is not interested in what the Senator has to say. They're just fishing for minutiae that they can twist into an attack strategy. The real question they should be asking is this: If they're already concerned that Hillary is so weak that she needs protection from an angry Rand Paul, what chance would she have against the likes of ISIS, Putin, Cuba, North Korea, and China? If she's such a delicate little flower that Senator Paul needs to treat her with kid gloves, why in the world does anyone, anywhere, think she's Presidential material?
