“Her problem now is not to prove to people that she’s ready to be president, because people think she is. The two words she needs are: ‘fun’ and ‘new.’” “Part of why yesterday was so successful is she looks like she’s having fun, and she’s doing, for her, new stuff. We’ve never seen her get a burrito before.”This is, to say the absolute least, stretching things. Yesterday was not successful. She wandered into a Chipotle ordered her super-fun burrito and, according to The Daily News, went almost completely unrecognized and spoke to no one.
She wasn’t, like, obvious and no one made a scene,” Wright said. “She just came through like a regular customer — and we treated her just like a regular customer.” Only one customer seemed to recognize he was in the presence of a newly minted presidential hopeful and snapped some pictures, Wright said. “He was the only one who really seemed to notice her,” he said. Here's the Daily News' headline. It screams "success." MSNBC's Mark Halperin: Hillary proving how 'fun' and 'new' she is ...by eating a burrito! Whoooooo! How "fun and fresh" is that? She really is the life of the party. More important than her ability to go completely unrecognized whenever she wants a little mid-range comfort food are the following questions... A burrito? Seriously? That was yesterday's big play? Is this how low the media is going to have to stoop in order to sell America on the "new, improved, Hillary?" How long are the Clintons' press allies willing to debase themselves before they recognize the utter futility of their mission? A word of advice to the legacy media: If this is the best the Clintons can do with their "rebranding exercise," you should jump ship immediately. Their campaign is already dead in the water. h/t HotAir
