Guess which one was friendly and accommodating . . . and which one, er, wasn't.

VIDEO: Same TMZ reporter approaches Rubio and Hillary
Apples and oranges here? First, watch the two videos. The Rubio one is just over a minute. The one with Bill Clinton's Wife is much shorter. (Scroll down for video)

Here, I guess, would be the defense of Hillary: The reporter obviously makes a much friendlier overture to Rubio. He tells him congratulations on his presidential announcement and asks him nothing but softball questions. With Hillary, he goes right into the e-mail questions (and to be honest, his question doesn't even make any sense to me . . . I'm not sure what he's even asking). But I don't think that's much of a defense when you really watch the videos. First, the reactions of Rubio and Hillary are markedly different before the reporter says anything more than hello. Rubio, who is apparently at the airport by himself and without an entourage, shows no sign of irritation or being troubled by the fact that this presumably unknown guy is approaching him. He is friendly and welcoming. Hillary, by contrast, doesn't break her stride even a little when he says hello. She just walks right on like she didn't know he was there. That's the Clintons-as-royalty thing on steroids. You little people can't just speak to the queen! Who do you think you are? Consider yourself lucky someone from her entourage didn't physically restrain you, junior. That attitude was evident before the guy from TMZ said a word about e-mails or anything else. Of course, she's happy to sit down with "ordinary Iowans" as long as they're hand-picked plants and not actual real people. But approach her casually in public and ask her a question? Yeah. Nice try. Unless, of course, you're sponsoring one of those $300,000 speeches and you're prepared to pay for the private jet and the presidential suite. Then Hillary will have her people get back to you. Maybe. If you're deemed worthy.
