VIDEO: Parents walk out as principal rips police in graduation speech

Maybe we should just do away with graduation ceremonies altogether. If anyone says something worthwhile at one of them, the result is so much shrieking it hardly seems worth it. And the flip side of that proposition is that graduation ceremonies give a voice to knuckleheads like this guy, who thinks it's his big moment in the sun to rip the police for their psychopathic propensity to murder black men:

Skretta is a prime example of a guy who is easily led by the narrative of the moment. The police are out there just wantonly killing black men because they have guns and they feel like it? Oh? And where did he get this idea? Well obviously he got it from paying lots of attention to news reports and absorbing the narrative like a good little activist liberal. No doubt he's every bit as committed to the fights against "climate change" and "income inequality" because you just hear about them so darn much. Back to the police thing, though, here's why this matters and why this dope's self-indulgent speech is an example of how dangerous this whole storyline has become. Police officers no longer believe they can do their jobs. Understand it's a dangerous job that involves a lot of confrontations with irresponsible, irrational people that get physical. The media would have you believe it's as clean and neat as a moist napkin: The cop tells someone to stop, they stop, the cop beats him up. Because police brutality. In reality, police encounter people who are high on drugs, or agitated, or nervous about a warrant, or determined to run for whatever reason. If public safety requires that person be apprehended, the only way to do so is to use some sort of physical force. And now the police have to grapple with the fact that at any moment someone might start video-recording what they're doing, then edit the video to only show the parts that appear to indict the cops, and put it on social media - promptly inspiring pinheads like Fred Skretta to start bashing them at graduation ceremonies. How can you do your job when that's the environment you have to operate in? I have no idea. At least the parents who got up and walked out made it clear they're not buying this idiotic narrative. He later "apologized" of course, because the stunt backfired and he had no choice. So should he be fired? Not for making this speech. If he's a competent principal, he can say whatever he wants as far as I'm concerned. If I ran the school district, though, I'd be double-checking to make sure he really is a competent principal. It's hard to believe that's possible when he's this big an idiot.
