"The Donald" has certainly stirred up a firestorm. From his TV show, The Apprentice to his hair style, nothing has been missed in an attempt to discredit the man. He represents, to the under informed, "the man" and all things to be abhorred about successful rich people. He causes middle-of-the-road voters to squirm a little with his unpolished speeches and self aggrandizement. And he simply scares the pants off the ruling class.
No one can doubt that he can negotiate. Nor can they doubt his knowledge of how to win those negotiations.
No matter how you feel about Trump, he will force all candidates to bring their "A" game by discussing things that real Americans worry about. # footing around issues won't be an option. Lack of a plan won't be an option.
It is far too early to be picking a horse in this race but, frankly, I think that some plain talk is long overdue.
And, I'm pretty sick and tired of career politicians.
