WhatFinger

As you may now see The Collective and all their allies will use any opportunity, any event, and turn it into a means to reach their ends.

It’s not the Flag, stupid!

Yes, let’s take down the Confederate flag. We should be taking down and removing and throwing away all things that have an attachment to hatred, racism, and not sending the politically correct message to the world. After all, an individual should not be allowed to decide for themselves what to hate or like; only The Collective through its incarnation as government or mob rule can decide that, right?
This cancerous idea has now spread to removing statues throughout the nation which have any connection to the Confederate side of the Civil War. I am sure that removing books from stores that have a Confederate flag on the cover, history or novel is on the way or maybe we will bypass the removal process all together and head straight towards burning them in the streets. Speaking of book burnings, the German Hakenkreuz, Svastika (swastika) in Sanskrit, symbol for the Buddhist and Hindu religions should have its usage ended within those religions due to the offensiveness of that symbol. Forget the fact the symbol was in use thousands of years before the Nazi Party co-opted its use and meaning. I think it works like this; the Nazis and Hitler had pictures of themselves taken with their flag in the picture, in the background or even holding it. The flag uses the swastika symbol, therefore the symbol must go. The following is no different than the previous example. An individual walks into a church in South Carolina and shoots to death nine people because of their skin color. However, at some previous point in time this person posts a picture of himself holding a Confederate flag, and this becomes the cause for his heinous crime. The flag did not cause the individual to act in this manner; it was the individual himself, his own thoughts, behaviors, and actions. Those in the PC thought police and The Collective cannot admit or understand this point; individuals are responsible for their own actions based on their own thoughts, concepts, and emotions. For the Collective Left to admit that people are thinking for themselves will destroy one of their central tenets and interfere with the operations of the PC police, to control what is said and done by others. This is what is happening now in the wake of the South Carolina church shooting. People are being told to hate a flag, to despise a culture, to change history.

The blame is being laid at the feet of the former Confederate culture because of a single action by one person holding a Confederate flag. This would be no different than blaming The Buddha for the holocaust just because the Nazis stole an ancient symbol from that religion and showed Hitler in a picture holding the swastika. Yes, very ridicules and yet The news continues with people and politicians jumping on the band wagon for the purpose of appearing politically correct, lest they be singled out as a racist or some other slur. Since we are getting rid of symbols that are full of hatred and racism, perhaps I can add a few to the list. The Collective will not be happy with this these choices, but, we should get rid of the hammer and sickle symbols from the former Soviet flag. Stores should just stop selling hammers and sickles (if they still sell sickles) for I am sure those items offend the sensibilities of people on the government dole, oppressive reminders of work and the need for the individual to be responsible for his own welfare. Another one are those tee shirts with Che Guevara face on them. A great public relations campaign started by the Cubans long ago, yet still very offensive to all those whom suffered under the failings of communism and Keynesian economists constantly reminded of communism’s failings. Rope should also be banned, it is the symbol of lynching or at least the noose is made from rope, but, it is all still very offensive. Yes, I carried this to an exaggerated end to make a point; any object or symbol, or even a word will be found offensive to someone at some time. However, the individual given the ability to choose and decide freely will always be the best option. It is very plain to see where this is all headed. A long-sought-after targeted symbol by Progressives and Socialists to get rid of and it will cause much celebration in the Collective for a thousand years. The Crucifix, the symbol of Christianity. With the war on American culture and values. With the war on Christians and the right to choose life and happiness, this is but the only logic end a rational self-thinking individual can conclude. Christianity is seen today as oppressive to Islam, as an historical evil with the Crusades and Inquisition. The Crucifix, or Cross, is the symbol of this great oppression, and so, it too must go. It is the agenda for some in this country to destroy Christianity which is an historical thread in the fabric of the American culture just as making a choice, good or bad, is central to free thinking. As you may now see The Collective and all their allies will use any opportunity, any event, and turn it into a means to reach their ends. Since American culture must be destroyed; their aim is to pull on one of the most important threads. You may not agree with this if you feel government is the solution to such problems. The free thinking individual will not fall prey to the re-written histories and illogical narratives put out continuously and will see through this fog. If the Progressive Collective Left is allowed to reach this end game, the United States will be irreparably damaged. If we continue to allow others to choose for us and to be led down this road of being told what and how to think we will be no different than the murderer of the people in the Charleston church; he, too, followed a collective group message; he, too, was told to hate because of a person’s skin color. He listened to that collective message, he did not think for himself, but he made an individual choice, a poor and evil choice. Yes, people choose poorly often, that is the human condition. It is hoped that we learn from what others do, good and bad. The lesson here is an individual with the liberty to think freely is still the better choice compared to following the dictates of The Collective. How will you choose? David Bolton
