Obama will say this is not really a treaty, and as such he is not required to submit it to the Senate for ratification. Fine. Then it's just a personal agreement between him and his friends in Tehran. The next president is free to ignore it. And he'd

BREAKING: Horrible deal that lets Iran get nukes finalized

Remember when people used to say stuff like this? "It's not the Russians that I worry about. It's what would happen if some fanatic or some nut got the bomb."
As Bobby Knight might say, if nuclear rape is inevitable, relax and enjoy it. And if you're Barack Obama and John Kerry, hey, why not just go ahead and make it happen? Now they have:
President Hassan Rouhani even tweeted a premature congratulatory note, saying “#IranDeal is the victory of diplomacy & mutual respect over the outdated paradigm of exclusion & coercion. And this is a good beginning.” In Israel, the accord was viewed with widespread worry after intense international lobbying efforts against the talks. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the deal as a “mistake of historic proportions” that will replenish Iran’s treasuries and allow it to maintain the components of a potential nuclear weapon.

“Iran is going to receive a sure path to nuclear weapons. Many of the restrictions that were supposed to prevent it from getting there will be lifted,” Netanyahu said at the start of a meeting with the Dutch foreign minister in Jerusalem. Part of the delay is the result of making sure the draft agreement, which is nearly 100 pages with its annexes, says the same thing in Persian that it does in English to minimize misunderstandings later on, and getting approval from leaders in the seven capitals. But the talks also are snagged on a handful of substantive issues, including how quickly sanctions would be lifted, when frozen Iranian assets would be released and how much access Tehran would grant investigators looking into whether it tried to build nuclear weapons. But perhaps the biggest sticking point revolves around a U.N. embargo on conventional weapons and ballistic missiles. Anyone who is a big enough fool to think this contains any real "restrictions" on Iran's nuclear ambitions is probably beyond reasoning with, and Obama and Kerry are clearly chief among those fools. (Then again, it's entirely possible that they know perfectly well this won't stop Iran from getting nukes, and they just don't care because by the time it happens it won't be their problem.) Is it inevitable now? Not necessarily. Scott Walker says he would throw out the agreement on his first day in office. Benjamin Netanyahu can always consider attacking Iran's nuclear facilities. But Obama just gave Iran not only the freedom to build nukes but also a lot more money to pay for it. The first time anyone claims they're in violation of the agreement, they will close off all access for inspectors and run to the UN saying they're being unfairly maligned. This will start a long and pointless grievance process. From that point forward no inspections will ever take place, but the sanctions will not be reinstated. Obama will say this is not really a treaty, and as such he is not required to submit it to the Senate for ratification. Fine. Then it's just a personal agreement between him and his friends in Tehran. The next president is free to ignore it. And he'd better.
