'The tip of the iceberg'

MSNBC - yes that MSNBC - offers a blistering, in-depth assessment of Hillary's email scandal

In case you've haven't been paying attention, you should know that Hillary's email scandal is getting worse. The story, which involves classified material being emailed from her secret, private, and now-erased, home server isn't going away. In fact, every few days we're treated to new revelations that seem to further cement her status as 2016's least trustworthy candidate.

As a result, Democrats are understandably skittish. If they had a viable replacement, the party would probably have scrapped Hillary's candidacy weeks ago. Fortunately, they don't. So we have many more months to enjoy the sorrowful expressions of Dems who are being forced to admit the truth about their "inevitable" candidate. Today's example comes to us from - of all places - MSNBC. On today's installment of "Morning Joe," host Joe Scarborough offered a blistering rundown of the Clinton email scandal in which he refutes virtually all of Hillary's talking points. You might expect this from a nominal Republican. What you don't expect is the nodding, agreement, and dour resignation offered by stanch leftists like Mika Brzezinski, Mark Halperin, and Andrea Mitchell. Watch, and be amazed: Wow. What's more shocking: The fact that MSNBC just did some actual reporting, or the fact that all of the people involved still have jobs after what we're sure was a delightful phone call from Clinton's surrogates?
