Enough divisiveness.

Labels out! Solutions and unity in for a victorious USA

It's time to put "United" back in the United States of America!
The intense partisan divide in Washington, D.C., the Republican and Democrat political parties suffering "brand" damage, conservatives and liberals not even trying to find common ground, immigration, race hustlers fanning the flames of racial tension, and 2016 presidential attack politics are all contributing to a divided America. Enough already! Let's focus on some real problems with some real solutions instead of more of the same political posturing and procrastination. I know it's not going to happen until we get some real leadership in the White House and Congress, but we the people can set the right tone even if they won't. I know we do not have solutions-focused leadership right now, so let's look for a 2016 presidential candidate who is at least identifying the right problems, talking specifics and connecting with Main Street USA. First, there is not a Democrat presidential candidate declared or undeclared for whom I would vote. They are all socialist, income redistributionists, free-stuff, government-dependency liberals. They just disguise their intentions differently, and they avoid being specific about policies they want to shove down the throats of the American people, which ultimately lead to bitter partisan fights and divisiveness.

Political dodge ball (Hillary Clinton), a $15 minimum wage (Bernie Sanders), or converting to the metric system (Lincoln Chafee) will not save the USA. They don't even talk about substantive solutions. It's just more government and playing one group against another. Democrat candidates also disguise their intentions by calling themselves "progressives". Nothing is farther from the truth. Just look at what "Hope and Change" got us into. And when Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton told an audience recently that she could not tell them her opinion on approving the Keystone Pipeline project until after she is president, that's an insult to the intelligence of people, and they let her get away with it. Just like Democrat voters let Nancy Pelosi get away with saying, "We have to pass the bill so you can find out what's in it." Wake up, Democrat voters! At least Republicans don't insult all of our intelligence, and their sometimes deception is not blatantly in-your-face. And Republicans don't openly admit they think we are stupid like Jonathan Gruber revealed in reference to developing the Unaffordable Care Act. Second, any of the Republican presidential candidates would be better than any of the Democrats, because they would push for policies totally opposite of the more-government Democrat liberals. If you do not see that then you are not paying attention or in denial. If you are in denial then we can't help you see the light. But if you pay attention to the facts then there's hope for you and the United States of America. Let's start this movement to unite us by thinking of ourselves (we the people) as USA-Americans. A caller to my radio show reminded me that the USA is not all of America. I said I know, but people inside and outside of the USA refer to the USA as America for brevity. Enough of the brevity. Let's get united! But an even bigger reason to remind ourselves to be more united in our thinking is to resist the divisive perceptions created by the media, and to push back against the voices that divide us. The labels Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Conservative, Liberal and Progressive mean different things to different people. And they all have some divisive perceptions to other people. I have to repeatedly remind some listeners that I do not speak for all Republicans just because I ran for president as a Republican. And, that I do not speak for all conservative radio talk show hosts. Callers sometimes want to label and attack me as a Republican, so I labeled myself an "ABC" - an American Black Conservative. But this is also divisive because it suggests that black conservatives are different from white conservatives. Black and white conservatives are not different in terms of their ideological beliefs of less government, lower taxes and more individual responsibility. But it is difficult to get past the perception of a label with some people, when you want to have a meaningful discussion of how we can change Washington, D.C. So let's not focus on the old labels! USA-America needs solutions! Solutions for a better USA start with a better leader in the White House who represents and speaks for the betterment of all USA-Americans. I am a USA-American who happens to be black, who happens to vote Republican, who happens to have conservative beliefs about what is best for the future of the United States of America. Just as we are all members of the human race before we focus on skin color or ethnicity, we are all USA-Americans first! Let's start acting and thinking like it! When we unite as a country we win! It's time to win again! USA! USA! USA!
