In all the hoopla surrounding Pope Francis’ first trip to America, the angels must be singing the blues. From the “simple oak chair being built by immigrant laborers for Mass at Madison Square Gardens”, to the 30,000 tickets set aside for his fans to get a closer view when the pontiff parades twice through downtown Philadelphia, Pope Francis is coming to America.

Riding polls as the world’s most popular public figure, the mainstream media is telling us that everyone wants to see the pope. The same media will pretend that the millions who do not want to see the pope throwing in with President Barack Obama don’t exist. Event organizers are working out myriad details for the pomp and ceremony that will mark the pontiff’s visit, ignoring altogether that earthbound pomp and ceremony are strangers in Heaven. Some find the man-made pomp and ceremony in preparation for the pontiff’s first trip to America as disturbing as it is depressing. They are those who know down at heart that Pope Francis is coming to America to pay proud public allegiance to abortion-supporting President Barack Obama and to the frauds hiding under diplomacy at the world’s biggest bureaucracy known as the United Nations. That the president of the United States and the leader of the Catholic Church on earth would come together to shill global warming/climate change as humanity’s biggest scourge is nothing less than an outrage of surrealistic dimensions.

In all the hoopla dressed up and sent out as propaganda by the soulless mainstream media, people of faith should remember even before Obama’s and Pope Francis’ words get to travel through Cyberspace to millions: Something’s wrong. No religious leader should be throwing in with a man driven by hate, no matter what the reason. Climate change is not new and climate change is not man made. Climate change was God made, as a natural part of our planet millennia ago. The earth was God-created to go through countless cycles that have nothing whatsoever to do with global warming/climate change and politically demonized CO2. Both Obama and the pope are using global warming alarmism as a cover to hide their failure to date confronting the wholesale slaughter of Christians by radical caliphate-seeking Islamists and the orchestrated exodus flooding illegal immigrants across the porous borders of Europe and the United States. Count on them both telling you that welcoming the ‘refugees’ of Muslim countries is “the Christian thing” to do. What kind of leaders would put politicized global warming ahead of human life? The Marxist ideal of redistribution of wealth, the Fundamental Transformation of America, the UN’s Utopian dream for one world government all need the guilt of the individual to complete societal ruin. If you have a job, and so many in the third world do not, Obama and Francis want you to feel guilty. If you have air conditioning and a poor family living in squalor in a country far away from your own does not, they want you to share a burden of guilt--even though it is their radical environmentalist friends keeping that family from the convenience and relief of air conditioning. But the teaming up of the president and pope, who seek to blanket the entire western world in a one-size-fits-all Marxist Miasma, is doomed to ultimately fail. Pomp and ceremony notwithstanding, the pope and president will fail because they are ideologues, not leaders; ideologues who can not possibly change the world without first changing you. Even with a complicit mainstream media cheering him on, a president cannot radically change individuals, and neither can a pope. Only the Creator can change individuals--and only if they allow access by opening their hearts to Him. Salvation and stability count on never letting the gobbledygook of the politician and a pope stand in for the Gospel of Christ. Obama and Pope Francis seem to be living in a kind of Peter Pan ‘forever’ world, neither one seeming to know that most Marxists dump their ideology along with their college books when they venture out into the real world. In any case, Obama’s ‘forever’ comes to an official end in January of 2017 when his insufferable second term as president comes to an end. Though we wish him well, Pope Francis must surely know that there is no forever at age 78. Only God is forever. Obama and the pontiff are trying to convince all that the seas will rise to claim us; the sun will fry a global warming-engulfed Mother Earth. Only God knows whether these calamities will ever strike earth, and we can all of us rest assured that He didn’t share that information privately with Barack Obama and Pope Francis, Bewildered and depressed, so many are apprehensive about this coming papal visit and wondering what they can do to preserve their faith and morale. Wherever you are, take metaphorical wing. Fly away with the precision of a homing pigeon on your way to Jesus Christ. Don’t let the ridicule of others or your own second guessing let you lose sight of the flight path. Fly high over the heads of Barack and Francis and let nothing stop you from going directly to our Savior. Let the Bible and not global warming be your word. Stay in the loving care of Jesus, in these worrisome days before the papal visit. Stay there during the visit, and long after it has been forgotten like all temporal things in the passage of time. Never forget: Popes and politicians do not control earth’s cycles. The Creator does.
