Khamenei: Israel will not exist in 25 years

In case you were wondering, the left already has a standard pat answer to this: He doesn't mean it. Every time an Iranian leader vows to obliterate Israel, the left insists it's all just bluster for internal political consumption - as if ayatollahs needed to run for re-election.

They don't, of course, and they're not building nukes for no reason. They're building them for this reason:
Khamenei’s threatening remarks about Israel were reportedly taken from a speech given in Iran on Wednesday. Embedded over a photo of what appears to be Khamenei stepping on a sidewalk painted with the Israeli flag, the tweet added that the “heroic and jihadi morale will leave no moment of serenity for Zionists.” His tweets come just one day after President Barack Obama secured the 42 Senate votes needed to ensure his landmark nuclear pact with Iran cannot be filibustered by opponents hoping to derail the accord, in part because of fears about how it will impact Israel’s security. Those American votes in support of the deal are apparently not enough for Khamenei, who also took stabs at the United States and said that Iran will never negotiate with Washington on anything other than this deal. “Americans in the Congress are plotting and passing bills against us,” he reportedly said in Tehran. “The Americans are not hiding their animosity towards Iran.”
Just within the past few days, the last "hold-out" Democrats (i.e., the ones who had to pretend to be reluctant to appease the public, which hates the deal) have been coming on board. My own horrendous senator Gary Peters did this song and dance just yesterday - going through all the reasons the deal bothers him but then getting on board because in the end he does what Obama wants and everyone knows it. But will any of them change their positions as a result of this? I wouldn't bet on it. They'll simply embrace the left's delusion that this is all talk and go ahead and grease the skids for the mad mullahs to build the very weapons that will allow them to fulfill this threat. Unless, of course, Netanyahu and the Israeli Air Force put a stop to it first.
