Had this incident happened five years ago, it might be a different story. But when a large bottle shattered their window in 2015 Obama’s America, it appears their reaction they were being fired upon was quite reasonable.

LAPD cops fatally shoot man who threw bottle at cruiser

The incident took place around 11:30 pm Saturday. Two LAPD officers were in their patrol car that was stopped for a red light in Van Nuys when the back window of their car shattered. Both officers bailed out of their vehicle and began shooting. A man who has not yet been identified was shot dead. No weapons were found on the dead man.

As well as the deceased’s name not being released, it is not 100% certain at this time the man who was shot and killed was the one who threw a 40 ounce beer bottle through the cruiser’s rear window. Investigation by the LAPD and the District Attorney’s office have begun and the two officers have been taken off the street. Not every interaction between police and civilians where gunfire is exchanged can be attributed to the war on cops. It could turn out the dead 40-year-old was simply mentally ill or had animosity against the police, not because of the encouragement of Black Lives Matter and Obama and his sycophants but because of previous dealings with the police. Even so it appears likely the reaction of the two officers who believed they were being fired upon by someone they did not even know was there can be attributed to the way many people in the United States now feel about police. The officers believed they were being fired upon. It would not be the first time shots were taken at police officers who were stopped at a red light. Last month, two Las Vegas police officers were shot at while stopped at a traffic light. One officer was shot in the hand while the other was uninjured. The cop who was not hit managed to chase and apprehend the suspect. And then there were the two NYPD officers, Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu who were sitting in their parked patrol car on a Brooklyn street last December when a shooter walked up to the car and executed both men. The investigations of the shooting in Van Nuys will determine not whether the officers involved made the correct decision but whether their actions in firing their weapons were “reasonable.” Had this incident happened five years ago, it might be a different story. But when a large bottle shattered their window in 2015 Obama’s America, it appears their reaction they were being fired upon was quite reasonable.
