Still, many believe Obama is not a Muslim, and is not hostile to Israel. If he is not, what then is the motive of a US foreign policy that helps ISIS revive the Caliphate and threatens Israel with nuclear destruction?

Does Obama’s Policy In The Middle East Help Establish the Caliphate?

Events in the Middle East are complicated. It is often difficult to keep tract of the moves made by both state actors and state leaders. Here are a some points to keep in mind as we attempt to piece together reports in the media and stories researched online about developments in the volatile part of the world.

In June of 2014, “ISIS…formally declared the establishment of a Caliphate, or Islamic state, in the vast stretches of the Middle East that have fallen under its control, and has outlined a vision to expand into Europe. This new Caliphate is possible because “The Syrian army has lost huge areas of the country since the outbreak of civil war in 2011, and the country is now split between four different powers: Isis controls much of Raqqa, parts of central Syria including Palmyra, and large areas of the border…with Iraq…” Western powers have been at odds as to what course of action to take in regard to ISIS. As they stumble over policy and action it looks to many that their real motives are never disclosed. Then, Russia, enters the picture and in doing so, attacks ISIS with air strikes. “Tight ties between Russia and Syria stretch back more than four decades. During the cold war, a newly independent Syria aligned with the Eastern block. As a young man, Hafez Assad, Bashar's father, learned to fly fighter jets in the Soviet Union.” Both Assad and Putin see themselves as fighting ISIS, or what is now called the Caliphate. The Russian alliance with Syria may even shed new light on events that took place in Libya years earlier. The night he was murdered in Benghazi, ambassador Stevens met with a diplomat from Turkey. Many believe that meeting was about smuggling weapons through Turkey to the Syrian rebels. “The Department of State “Background Briefing on Libya,” provided by telephone to reporters on October 9, 2012 states that Ambassador Christopher Stevens held his last meeting of the day on September 11 with the Turkish diplomat from 7:30pm to 8:30pm and then escorted him out to the compound gate to bid farewell.” In August, 2012, reports claimed, “President Barack Obama has signed a secret order authorizing U.S. support for rebels seeking to depose Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his government, sources familiar with the matter said. This support no doubt did not go unnoticed in Moscow. Obama's order, approved earlier this year and known as an intelligence "finding," broadly permits the CIA and other U.S. agencies to provide support that could help the rebels oust Assad.” After the Incident at Benghazi, it was reported that in 2013, “The CIA, who had been in a generation long struggle first with the Soviet Union and then the new Russia, had been subjecting operatives to monthly polygraph tests in an attempt to suppress details of a reported US arms smuggling operation in Benghazi that was ongoing when its ambassador was killed by a mob in the city last year…” In 2013 “The CIA has begun delivering weapons to rebels in Syria, ending months of delay in lethal aid that had been promised by the Obama administration, according to U.S. officials and Syrian figures. The shipments began streaming into the country over the past two weeks, along with separate deliveries by the State Department of vehicles and other gear—a flow of material that marks a major escalation of the U.S. role in Syria’s civil war.” Add to that, “In light of...new information, either the Congress’ “Gang of Eight” knew about the operation and misled the public about what they knew, or the Obama administration may have been conducting an unauthorized gun-running operation." "Legislation implemented in 1980 gave the president the authority to limit advance notification of especially sensitive covert actions to eight Members of Congress--the “Gang of Eight...These members are: House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI), Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD), Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-GA).” Although some say that the Syrian rebels do not support the establishment of a Caliphate, others disagree. “Obama’s re-election has caused a major boost in confidence for countries like Britain and France in their wanting to topple Assad. But, it has also given confidence to Turkey, in their desire to oust out Assad; but the goal of the Turks is to conquer Syria, in order to revive the Ottoman empire.” Pastime passes, most Syrian rebels, trained by the United States will be seen to be really ISIS in disguise. “It was supposed to be a crucial instrument of the Obama administration's aims in Syria, an ostensibly moderate rebel fighting force that would keep the pressure on the authoritarian regime in Damascus without aiding the ruthless jihadist forces that have captured much of the country. But the soldiers of Harakat Hazzm -- the first Syrian rebel group to receive arms from the CIA -- disbanded this week.” “Hundreds of Harakat Hazzm's soldiers have joined jihadist forces like…the Islamic State group, also known as ISIS, several former fighters told the International Business Times…” But it's not just the rebels in Syria who are pro ISIS. Who knows how many of the Syrian refugees invited into Europe are potential ISIS fighters? "Britain's prime minister is being warned that two out of every 100 refugees coming from Syria could be fanatics trained by the Islamic State." The odds are there are many more than just two out of a hundred. The EU could be granting safe haven to those who will work as a fifth column to establish the Caliphate. Beyond Europe, human rights groups want the US to take in 65,000 Syrian refugees by the end of 2014. President Obama is support that invasion of Syrians. At a minimum that could be about 26 ISIS terrorists in each of the 50 states. In this regard, immigration policy has become foreign policy, a foreign policy that supports the rise of the ISIS Caliphate. Then there is Iran. Iranian leaders want a nuclear bomb. They never tire of threatening Israel with destruction, just like ISIS. The Business Insider claims, “The US and other world powers struck a landmark deal with Iran over its nuclear program…and the agreement might benefit one group that the US hadn't counted on—the Islamic State.” “Hassan Hassan, an associate fellow at the think tank Chatham House and coauthor of the recent book "ISIS: Inside The Army of Terror,” told The Wall Street Journal that the nuclear deal could make already-disaffected Sunnis feel even more like the US and Iran are conspiring against them. Because events in the Middle East are often chaotic besides being complex, we see that there are false flags everywhere. In the shadow of those false flags, many scholars of Islam have concluded that because of Sharia law, a Muslim cannot swear allegiance to the US Constitution and therefore cannot be a US citizen. Nevertheless, “In 2010, John Brennan, the current Director of the CIA, gave a speech in Arabic extolling the beauty of Islam. The CIA director referred to the capital of Israel in the first instance not as Jerusalem—but as Al Quds…Mr. Brennan never made any references to the history of continuous violence in Islam since 622 AD—the time of Mohammed’s Hijra from Mecca to Medina.” This speech has caused some to ask if the director of the CIA is in fact a Muslim, with questionable ties to parties in the Middle East.. Besides that, according to Gregg Miller at the Washington Post, “At (the) CIA, a convert to Islam leads the terrorist hunt…He also married a Muslim woman he met abroad, prompting his conversion to Islam. Colleagues said he doesn’t shy away from mentioning his religion but is not demonstrably observant….” With all these diverse elements bumping against one another like the atoms of Lucretius, you have to wonder if the left hand of the US government knows what the right hand is doing. Or maybe both had to know, and what they are doing is creating a situation in the Middle East where ISIS will emerge victorious. Nevertheless, in a nutshell, it seems likely that to support Assad is to oppose the Caliphate. Russia supports Assad. “Vladimir Putin was directly and personally threatened by extremist Islamic terror group ISIS because of his close ties to Syrian leader Bashar Hafez al-Assad, and will liberate Chechnya and Caucasus…" It is not in the interest of Russia to have the Caliphate at their souther doorstep. There are so many threads in the Middle East that it seems impossible to entangle them. What about US drone strikes against al Qaeda, that sometimes kill innocent bystanders? Do those strikes help advance the Caliphate and ISIS? It seems they do. “Just ahead of the fourteenth anniversary of al Qaeda's 9/11 attacks on the U.S., the leader of the terrorist group took aim in an angry speech at a mortal enemy—but not American “crusaders” this time. Rather, the object of his tirade was the leader of ISIS in a declaration of war that will “irreconcilably” divide the two terror groups…” By attacking al Qaeda, the United States is removing an ISIS enemy, al Qaeda. The result of these strikes is to make ISIS stronger in the long run. And then there is the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt that both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama support. Writing in World Affairs, Michael J. Totten claims, “there's no reason to be the least bit shocked that ISIS views them (the Muslim Brotherhood? as their comrades and is threatening revenge on their behalf.” It seems that everywhere we look in the complex and confused Middle East, the Obama administration furthers the aims of ISIS and a revived Caliphate. When we piece together all these quotes and references, what are we left with? One conclusion we may entertain is that to support the Syrian rebels is to support ISIS, the Caliphate and perhaps a revival the Ottoman empire. Is this what the Obama administration secretly wants to do, in the first place?. Unfortunately, to revive the Caliphate would mean the death of Israel. On the other hand, Putin’s foreign policy is to forestall the Caliphate. Still, many believe Obama is not a Muslim, and is not hostile to Israel. If he is not, what then is the motive of a US foreign policy that helps ISIS revive the Caliphate and threatens Israel with nuclear destruction? Perhaps Obama’s Middle Eastern policy is confused because the men and women who further that policy are confused. Perhaps lurking in the background is the progressive dream of bringing about the downfall of the United States by forces both internal and external.
