Anonymous campaign source says either Huma or Chelsea will be Hillary's First Lady. ...Wait, what?

Since all previous Presidents have been men, the job of preaching about nutrition, attending rose garden tea parties, and making sure kids stay off drugs has fallen to their wives. Over the years, the first lady has been something of a figurehead representing an administration's softer, gentler, family-based programs. That is, unless your last name is Clinton. In that case, you put the First Lady in charge of healthcare.
Now we're staring down the barrel of a second President Clinton and she's a woman. Since Bill will probably be busy doing what bill does, people have wondered who Hillary's "First Gentleman" would be. According to the UK's Daily Mail, you can stop wondering. Hillary is going to appoint a First Lady. Yes, that's weird - particularly since "First Lady" isn't even a real, appointable, position. Still.... According to anonymous sources in the Clinton campaign, Huma and Chelsea are currently the top contenders for whatever it is that Hillary is planning to do.
The top two contenders on Clinton's very secret potential first lady list are her close aide and controversial confidante, Huma Abedin, and popular former first daughter, Chelsea Clinton-Mezvinsky, Daily Mail Online can report exclusively. A Clinton campaign source revealed that Chelsea and Huma 'are being seriously discussed' for the first lady spot.

'Hillary firmly believes both Huma and Chelsea can handle the duties of the first lady with aplomb,' said the source. 'But in the end she also knows it can be as big a decision to make as selecting her vice presidential running mate because the personality and image of the first lady can be a key to the success of an administration.
Certainly, there are plenty of reasons why Hillary might want to keep Bill as far away from the Oval Office as possible. For one thing, he's a much more powerful presence, and he's much more well-liked. President Hillary didn't spend the last 40 years subjugating herself to her husband just to share the spotlight with him. More importantly, the thought of a bored First Husband running wild among the White House interns is probably the kind of thing that already gives Hillary night terrors. So maybe this makes sense.
Another well-placed Clinton source, confident in Hillary becoming the next commander in chief, told Daily Mail Online: 'Secretary Clinton certainly knows how important the role of first lady can play in an administration because, after all, she's been there twice, first in Arkansas and then [in] the White House.' 'It's an important decision for her to make. She's seriously thinking about it, and her clear choices now are Chelsea on one hand, and Huma on the other. She trusts and dearly loves both of them.'
Go home, Bill. You're no longer needed here.
