The sad reality is that Jewish lives don’t matter, anywhere. Jew hatred has become normalized. No one pays attention. If gays or blacks were attacked as randomly and wantonly as the Jews, the media would be on fire. But the Jews? No.

There was a rally for Israel at Times Square at the “red steps” on West 47th Street, Sunday evening, October 11. Organized by Ido Siman Tov and Nofar Avigdor, it started at 8 p.m. and lasted until 11 p.m. More than 800 people arrived with only a few days’ notice on Facebook. They came from places like Fort Lee, New Jersey; Manhattan Beach, Brooklyn; Washington Heights, Manhattan; Lower East Side, Manhattan; Flushing, Queens, to speak “For those who walk the streets of Israel’s cities in fear. We are their voice.”

A “flash mob” of sorts. But you probably didn’t hear about it. One would think that 800 people dancing and singing, carrying Israeli flags, chanting and praying in the middle of Times Square would be noticed. People carried banners that read “Stop the Terror in Israel,” “Jewish Blood is Not Cheap,” and “End the Silence.” Ironic, isn’t it? The silence remains deafening. A participant said “In America, We must also call to end media bias against Israel.” That call goes unanswered. After all, it’s only Jews. And according to the mainstream media reportage, it’s the fault of the Jews that Palestinians are dying--after the Arabs have stabbed them, or shot at them, or run people over in a car, or tried bombing them. When Israel tries to defend her people she is attacked. The media begin their reports with the sad death of the poor Palestinian--who attacked a Jew. The Jew doesn’t matter. In other words, Israel can do no right and the Palestinian Arabs can do no wrong. Interesting. Calls of “We must raise our voices louder so the world knows that Jewish blood is not cheap” are disregarded. The sad reality is that Jewish lives don’t matter, anywhere. Jew hatred has become normalized. No one pays attention. If gays or blacks were attacked as randomly and wantonly as the Jews, the media would be on fire. But the Jews? No. More photos of the event.
