NYPD union calls for boycott of Quentin Tarantino

On Thursday, protesters, led by Black Lives Matter, staged an anti-cop demonstration in Times Square. The protest was held less than 48-hours after NYPD officer, Raymond Holder, 33, was gunned down in East Harlem. The officer who originally came to the United States from Guyana, was black. Holder was the fourth NYPD officer to die a violent death while in the line of duty in the last eleven months.

While these protests are now part of the American landscape, taking place all across the country, right-thinking people question the timing of the protest, with some of the participants being from East Harlem, where Holder was shot to death by a career criminal. According to the demonstrators, they are protesting what they call “police terror” throughout the US. One of the chants being yelled was “This is the time to rebel. NYPD go to hell.” Needless to say, Obama and the race baiters had nothing to say about the death of the black officer or the timing of the protest. Participating in the protest was director Quentin Tarantino. Tarantino spoke to the gathering and said, “When I see murders I do not stand by…” adding all too often cops are murderers. On Saturday, Patrick J. Lynch, president of the city’s Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, issued a press release stating, “It’s no surprise that someone who makes a living glorifying crime and violence is a cop hater, too. The police officers that Quentin Tarantino calls ‘murderers’ aren’t living in one of his depraved big screen fantasies—they’re risking and sometimes sacrificing their lives to protect communities from real crime and mayhem. New Yorkers need to send a message to this purveyor of degeneracy that he has no business coming to our city to peddle his ‘Cop Fiction.’ Lynch then went on to call for a boycott of Tarantino’s films. Hopefully, this boycott will extend beyond the borders of the five boroughs. At least Tarantino can count on the fact if he is ever in trouble, these murderers will show up to help him.
