White House fence-jumper spotlights refugee "crisis"

If this appears to be a strained relationship, drawing a correlation between the Thanksgiving Day fence-jumper and the proposed importation of thousands of purported Syrian refugees, think again. It is the illustration of the ease with which America's defenses can be breached that connects the two. After the determined intrusion of an individual last year, who blazed his way through a number of rooms on the ground floor of the presidential residence, an attempt was made to improve the barrier surrounding the grounds. Higher spikes on the ironwork fence were installed with additional deterrents currently in the planning stages. Some would say, "too little, too late," and they would be correct in regard to the White House as well as the plan to relocate refugees here, hundreds which have already been placed.

The president seems bent on "shutting the barn door" after the horse has gone by allowing entry of individuals whose backgrounds defy checking. This according to James Comey, FBI director, and other security officials. Actually, President Obama doesn't want the door shut as he pressures states to accept refugees, among whom could very well be terrorists and not asylum-seekers at all, and even steals them in (against the law: Title 8 ยง1522). Referring to the border, the "barn door" may seem reversed, but the point is plain in that as soon as someone gains entry posing as a poor refugee, they split the scene only to be lost among the diverse population. Case in point: the two families illegally arriving in New Orleans November 13, 2015, through USCIS negotiating with Catholic Charities without consulting the State of Louisiana. Immediately one of the individuals disappeared. This incident is a clarion call to the danger of allowing individuals who are impossible to vet into the United States, which includes most everyone claiming to be fleeing the carnage in Syria. It's asking for the perpetration of a Paris-like event that targets innocent citizens out on the town, enjoying the freedoms this nation offers. And, no, this is not fearmongering, it is sensible self-defense. Hopping the fence, garbed with an American flag, the young man, Joseph Caputo, embodies the peril of lackadaisical security measures. Bringing in immigrants without the ability to verify their nationality, birth date, marriage status, let alone their true name, is tantamount to societal suicide. The demise of Rome is a testament to how granting citizenship to aliens, the foreign-born who have no love of the country, destroys the nation from inside its borders. There are too many who immigrate here with the intent of harming, even demolishing the pillars of Liberty in favor of anarchy or, worse, theocratic tyranny. The determination of a suicidal youth, which jihadis are, to easily vault the White House fence is witness to the foolishness (or calculated purpose) permeating the Obama administration's unconstitutional immigration policy and no-strategy strategy of dealing with ISIS.
