“Good” is not the word I would use to describe the night descending on America, but some sort of night is falling on “we the people,” no doubt.

Obama’s Speech Tonight

Like many of you I am waiting on tenterhooks to hear what Obama has to say to the nation tonight. I imagine it will be something along the lines of: “Reports of workplace violence in California have come to my attention (like you, I read about it in the papers), so I am asking all patriotic citizens to watch your carbon footprint and turn in your guns. God bless America” -- oooh I can’t wait.

Apparently the FBI agrees with Obama’s “nothing to see here folks, move along” attitude toward Islamic terrorism. They searched the apartment where the two radical Muslims responsible for the multiple murders in San Bernardino lived, said “Well, got all we need,” and the crime scene was flung open for every Tom, Dick, and Harriet to stampede through like frantic shoppers on a Black Friday spree. Some sort of new law enforcement share-and-share-alike SOP I take it. On second thought Obama probably won’t end his supercilious twaddle with “God bless America” tonight. As we know, he studiously reads the newspapers in order to keep up with current affairs, and the papers (not to mention Democratic politicians) have recently informed us that God and prayer are ineffective wastes of time. So Obama may end his speech by simply saying “Good night America.” “Good” is not the word I would use to describe the night descending on America, but some sort of night is falling on “we the people,” no doubt.
