Democrat tax-cheats and those with suspicions of illegal practices

Obama errors mirror inept leadership

With the veritable parade of Democrat tax-cheats and those with suspicions of illegal practices that have been selected for appointment to high government positions or have been candidates for election to high Congressional seats, one has to wonder how many more of them are already in high government positions besides the Secretary of the Treasury who got a ‘mulligan’ and sitting in elected offices of Congress blessed by not having been caught or discovered yet???

To the average Fred Six-Pack or Joe the Plumber it appears that the Democrats might have good reason to always be calling for tax increases to be passed in Congress; the money is needed to make up for what they themselves do not pay, due to: Choose one: (a) Simple error in arithmetic; (b) simply forgot; (c) been too busy; (d) accountant error; (e) thought they could get away with it due to their lofty government position. A survey on the above questionnaire of principals involved would most likely play out as follows: All presidential cabinet officers and administration officials: Evenly divided between (a) and (d). Fred Six-Pack or Joe the Plumber and friends and family: Unanimously (e). And even our new President, who made the statement: “Ultimately it’s important for this administration to send a message that there aren’t two sets of rules. You know, one for prominent people and one for ordinary folks who have to pay their taxes” might actually get around to sending that message to future appointees, even if written or spoken in Arabic or Swahili without accompanying translation. This is what the mighty, much revered and theoretically loved by 70 million voters new President is facing these days through an egg-covered facial visage after poorly choosing such ill-received, blatantly arrogant cheats and fixers; one of whom actually got Congress to buy his dishonesty and approve his Cabinet appointment, sending the wrong message to our children and future leaders. It seriously undermines and brings questions about the new President’s leadership skills, or the weighty lack thereof. Just look at the growing cadre of tax avoiders and other miscreant deeds the former “messiah” wants to surround himself with: Daschle, Killefer, Geithner, and fellow liberal pols, Richardson, Rangel, and also now we find another one who wants to be a Senator, the unfunny comedian tax cheat Al Franken. There seems to be some problems with Obama’s pick for Labor Secretary as Hilda Solis is said to perhaps shown some unethical behavior in her paperwork submitted for her nomination hearings. She hasn’t provided much detail on her memberships with Labor organizations on whom she would be making decisions. And we should probably not let an old Chicago political buddy of Obama’s, The Guv, Blogojevich, the Senate Seat Salesman du jour. With an entourage like this, who needs the Mafia? It’s no wonder Obama wants to get these appointments and elections done in a hurry before any more start to show up. Speaking of which, who knows which other close Obama cronies may yet be revealed to have horrible truths, like: Eric Holder and his partial and favored treatment of a gang of murderers; Hillary Clinton and her missing records saga while at Whitewater; Greg Craig and his legalistic maneuvers for the Clinton White House; Leon Panetta a totally unqualified paperwork wonk, with absolutely no experience in intelligence matters; Janet Napolitano viewed as being soft on illegal alien immigration when she vetoed a bill automatically turning all immigrants into criminals who sneaked into the state. While all of these embarrassing attempts to create a working force for the new administration have caused much anguish and hand-wringing in the Obama circle of support, another situation has uncovered what appears to be unrest or lack of trust between Obama and Congress. Leaders of the Legislative Branch have banned both Vice President Joe Biden and Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel from attending weekly Senate/House Caucus meetings. This was a normal ritual with the Republicans when they controlled the Congress and worked closely with the Bush Administration as reported by Tony Blankley on Jan. 14, 2009 in GOPUSA. So there appears to be strong evidence of “trouble in paradise” indicating a definite, probably record setting, short time frame of the new president’s “honeymoon” with Congress. It wouldn’t surprise me to see another presidential task force created to find out if the Republicans are responsible for these “anti-messianic” transgressions that have suddenly plagued the reverent air of the ascension of the 44th leader of the free world; what there is left of it.
