Last June, the corrupt minority Liberal Ontario government was rewarded for their scandals and the waste of billions of taxpayers’ money by being handed a majority. Turning abject failure into a victory was the result of one man—then PC leader Tim Hudak.
The carnival in Rio de Janeiro from February 13 through the 17th was one heck of a party. It was celebrated by the locals, plus an estimated one million visitors, complete with fabulous parades, street parties and balls. Brazil is blessed with some great beaches, the most famous of which is Ipanema, thanks to the 1962 bossa nova classic “Girl from Ipanema”.
The power grab is on, and the Obama Executive Branch will keep it all under wraps until it is too late for you to protest against it. Such has been the tendency of the Obama White House for six years, but now the brazen tyranny is being pranced in front of us as if the hard left minions of President Obama are daring us to make a peep about it.
The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) was established in 2005, at the initiative of former UN Secretary General Kofi Anan and co-sponsored by the Governments of Spain and Turkey. Its stated vision is to build “mutual respect among peoples of different cultural and religious identities, highlighting the will of the world’s majority to reject extremism and embrace diversity.”
Only mere weeks into the scandals of Veterans Administration’s improper handlings and bingo; the story gets more odorous when Obama’s hand-picked Secretary of that federal agency admits he lied about his own military service.
Franklin Graham pulled a “Lincoln” by using an economy of words to take down the actions of President Obama. “I do know that the president defends Islam and chastises Christians, rebukes our allies and befriends our enemies, and fully supports gay marriages and abortion but denies the religious freedoms of those who don’t agree.”
Interest in the 2016 presidential election contest is heating up. It is an arguably unfortunate aspect of the US national political scene that no more than midway through a presidential term, the nation might be paying as much attention to whom the next occupant of the White House may be than to the current resident.
The America that has existed from the days of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, when its sovereignty was acknowledged by a treaty with England 1783, and its founding in 1788 with the ratification of the Constitution is no more. The America for which thousands fought and gave their lives is no more.
Unless the issue is resolved between now and Friday, there will be a “shutdown” of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) due to the GOP’s determination to withhold funding for President Obama’s dubious immigration agenda. The quotes around the word shutdown reflect the fatuousness behind the hysteria being whipped up by the Obama administration and their media allies.
“Stop, thief!” can be heard daily on the street corners of the world when vulnerable old ladies and others are being relieved of their grocery money and identification by purse snatching, knockout-practicing thugs.

The Tourer is certainly visually appealing and looks decidedly futuristic, which is surprising for an estate car, which so often looks the poor relation when compared to its hatchback or saloon variants.
