Why compassion for illegal immigration is wrong
By A. Dru Kristenev Full Story

Unchecked immigration is destroying our nation by undermining and overrunning the very institution that was built to harbor immigrants through the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution...

Don't call it compassion when the president, elected officials or a candidate takes a stand that illegal immigrants deserve a pass to stay in this country and receive citizenship, let alone resident status. It is approval of America's demise; an uncontrolled decimation of what the Founders established in the new world expressly to provide free exercise of faith, industry and speech.

The Problem with Jade Helm
 By Arnold Ahlert Full Story

Jade Helm 15, a large-scale military operation conducted by U.S. Army Special Operations Command and service members from the military’s four branches, scheduled to take place in several states between July 15 and September 15, 2015, has elicited a firestorm of criticism. Many have gone so far as to claim the exercises are a prelude to the imposition of martial law, especially in Texas, one of the states designated as “hostile” territory. However, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) puts the issue in the proper perspective, noting why it's reasonable that Americans would be concerned about the operation.

How the Media Got Into Bed with the Clintons
 By Cliff Kincaid Full Story

Republican operative Karl Rove writes in The Wall Street Journal that “few demonstrate as much contempt for journalists as do Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.” That may be true for Obama, but Mrs. Clinton has taken a different approach. Her platforms, the Clinton Foundation and its project, the Clinton Global Initiative, have given the appearance of humanitarian work, drawing many big names from the media into her network of influence. No wonder they treat her with deference and respect. The media have been compromised.

I spent yesterday evening driving to our local high school, which is the polling place for any votes that relate to membership on the local school board. Equally important, but much more inflammatory, the school budget is also subject to approval through votes by local citizens.

Global Warming Now Responsible for Islamic Terrorism
 By Judi McLeod Full Story

President Barack Obama’s attempts to provide cover for Islamic terrorists by first declaring global warming/climate change “a national security threat” and then excusing their ongoing carnage with the absurd claim that it was global warming that set them off, must be the biggest political scam in all of human history.

The Rise of Democracy, and the Fall of the Electoral College
By Douglas V. Gibbs Full Story

James Madison wrote five times in his essays of the Federalist Papers that we are a republic, and then explained what a republic is. He believed this to be necessary not only so that the Constitution may be properly understood, but because in their argument against the Constitution, the statists of the era were trying to convince the people that a republic, and a democracy, are the same thing. Democracy, in reality, is a transitional form of government, one that would lead America from being a republic to an oppressive oligarchy, argued many of the Founding Fathers. We must never be a democracy.

Shavou’ot (Pentecost) highlights US-Israel relations
By Yoram Ettinger   --Christianity - Religion

The US-Israel relations have experienced many crises, beginning with the Department of State’s opposition to the establishment of the Jewish State in 1948, the Department of State-inspired 1948/49 military embargo (while the British supplied arms to Egypt, Jordan and Iraq), and Foggy Bottom’s sustained refusal to recognize any part of Jerusalem as an Israeli territory.

IMF’s Disingenuous Attempt to Tax Energy Use
By Institute for Energy Research   --Global Warming-Energy-Environment

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) released its estimate of global fossil fuel subsidies for 2015 at $5.3 trillion—almost ten times higher than the International Energy Agency’s (IEA) calculation of $548 billion for 2013.(i] The difference is not the change of a 2-year span, but the methodology. The IEA uses a “price-gap” methodology, which is the difference between end-use prices and supply costs that include shipping costs, margins, and value-added taxes. In other words, the agency calculates subsidies that the governments pay their own citizens to enable them to buy energy more cheaply than the market price.

Oh joy: Hillary offers her thoughts on how to ‘jump start small business’
 By Dan Calabrese   --American Politics

Hillary offers her thoughts on how to 'jump start small business'It’s hard to imagine anything more frightening than the image above (and just think how it must make Bat Boy feel), but one possibility might be the prospect of Hillary Clinton developing strategies for how to “jump start small business.” I have been a small business owner since 1999, and it’s hard to imagine anything in common between good small business practices and the things Hillary Clinton does.

FEC backs off plan to regulate Internet
 By Dan Calabrese   --American Politics

FEC backs off plan to regulate InternetThe Internet isn’t totally out of the woods with the news we’re sharing here, but at least it’s something positive. The FCC still intends to regulate the Internet in the manner of a 1930s-era telephone company, meaning the ObamaNet continues to loom over everyone. But at least the FEC is backing off - for now - on a plan to squash free speech by demanding that everyone who uses the Internet to express political opinions file spending reports with the federal government. And the best news is that it was public pressure - it still works if you use it, folks! - that forced Democrat commissioners to back down:

Clinton Foundation: So hey, turns out we took in $26.4 million more than we disclosed
 By Dan Calabrese   --American Politics

One of the curiosities I’ve had about the Clinton Foundation slush fund is how Hillary just wantonly ignored the agreement she’d made with the White House to disclose the donations they were getting while she was Secretary of State. Not that it surprises me she would welch on the agreement. Not at all. That’s classic Hillary. But usually they find some sort of clever way to break their word while being able to claim they kept it. That’s the Clinton way. I was a little surprised at the idea that she would have just hidden the donations and basically said “screw you” to the White House in the process.

North Korea’s Takeaway From The Iran Nuclear Talks
 By Claudia Rosett   --World News

Forbes.com
In defense of the Iran nuclear talks, Obama administration officials have made a number of unlikely claims, including the repeated proposition that under the current Tehran regime Iran’s nuclear program could be transformed into something “exclusively peaceful.” But one of the most bizarre statements yet came just last weekend from Secretary of State John Kerry. Speaking to reporters in Beijing, Kerry said he hopes an Iran nuclear deal could have a “positive influence” on North Korea.

Obama Claims Anti-Semitic Iranians are Just Being ‘Rational’
By Warner Todd Huston   --American Politics

Obama has now decided that being a wild-eyed hater of Jews is a “rational” action and that the Iranian’s hate for Jews doesn’t make them bad people. How can Jews still support Obama?

In discussing his foreign policy ideas concerning Iran getting a nuke, Obama once again had harsher things to say about Israel than he does about Iran despite that Iran has actually helped kill thousands of American soldiers.

Saudi Arabia wants to run the UN Human Rights Council. Also places want ads for more executioners

Saudi Arabia wants to run the UN Human Rights CouncilThe United Nations is one of the most worthless organizations on the face of the Earth. That’s not hyperbole. It’s just a simple fact. An easy solution to that whole crowded-stage-at-the-Republican-debate problem
 By Dan Calabrese   --American Politics

An easy solution to that whole crowded-stage-at-the-Republican-debate problemI suppose it’s arguable whether it matters that the field of Republican presidential candidates in the coming cycle looks to be unusually large. Personally I don’t really see why it matters, since we know perfectly well that only a handful of viable candidates will still have a serious chance once we’re past the first few caucuses and primaries. But I can’t help but be both amused and a little frustrated by the reason many conservatives are citing for why this is supposedly a problem:
