Stand Up For Our Canadian Heritage
By News on the Net Sunday, March 7, 2010
Dear Fellow Canadian:
With the recent passing of Canada’s last known surviving World War I Veteran, John Babcock, this is the best chance we have had in years to stand up for our Canadian heritage and fly the Canadian Red Ensign forever at the National War Memorial in Ottawa alongside the Maple Leaf Flag. Built after World War One by that generation and just like the Vimy Memorial, it was proudly dedicated under the pre-1957 Red Ensign with green maple leaves, the same flag our World War Two Veterans served under. This would be the most fitting and respectful tribute possible to keep alive the memory of our veterans so that future generations may have a better appreciation of their service.

USA only a few days away from TotalitarianismBy Sher Zieve Friday, March 19, 2010
Knowing full well that ObamaCare will not only gut Medicare (by $500 Billion or more), create over 150 new agencies designed to control the citizens of the USA (most of which have nothing to do with health), will begin taxing We-the-People immediately upon its being signed into law but will NOT begin serving anyone for years corrupt, bribed and/or intimidated Democrat leaders—as was to be expected—folded one by one into the Obama web of deception.
Hanks, Hollywood and HistoryBy Bruce Walker Friday, March 19, 2010
Tom Hanks has said that our war on Islamic terrorism has the same flaws as he perceives our Pacific War against Japan had seventy years ago. America, in both conflicts, made crude racial stereotypes of our enemies, feared the strange gods they worshipped, and sought to annihilate them. Hanks’ comments reveal, for those of us who still needed evidence, the appalling ignorance of Hollywood and its performers.
California’s Brown Tells Unions to ‘Attack’ His GOP Opponent,By Warner Todd Huston Friday, March 19, 2010
You couldn’t get any better proof that unions are little else but hatchet men for the Democrat Party than Jerry Brown’s recent visit to a labor group meeting in California this week.
Obama Set to Create More Joe StacksBy Warner Todd Huston Friday, March 19, 2010
The Republican members of the House Ways and Means committee today alerted the country to the appalling fact that Obama and his Democrat cohorts will be creating 17,000 new IRS agents with the President’s signing of Obamacare.
The Dixiecrat MythBy Bob Parks Friday, March 19, 2010
The left is quite annoyed that myself and others dare link the racist, segregationist past in this country to Democrats, at that flies in the face of everything they claim to champion, when it comes to civil rights, racial tolerance, etc.
The Democrats’ own website, to this day, attempts to take fraudulently credit for the civil rights movement and legislation, and when called on it, the recitation is the same: “we’ve grown” and “don’t forget about the Dixiecrats”.
Defensive liberals claim the Dixiecrats, as a whole, defected from the Democrat Party when President Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (no thanks to Democrats), and became Republicans which they claimed were more accepting of segregationist policies.

Disgraceful Liberals lie and distortBy Dick Field Friday, March 19, 2010
It doesn’t matter whether it is the CBC stable of talking heads, the Toronto Star or its subsidiaries and their editorialists or the many journalists so familiar to us all that it makes one sick when they appear on virtually every panel or newscast.. These talking know-it-all types dominate the mass Lib-left “news” across Canada. Their ratio of anti-Harper and anti-Conservative rhetoric is 20 to 1 against. It is a disgusting fact of Canada’s unbalanced and distorted mass media.

The Battle for JerusalemBy Ted Belman Friday, March 19, 2010
The focus on settlements or the “occupation” has now taken a back seat to the focus on Jerusalem itself. It is understood by all that so goes Jerusalem, so goes the peace process
America’s Meddling in Israel’s Affairs May Lead to a New War in the RegionBy Gerard Group Friday, March 19, 2010
- Ilana Freedman
For Israel to embarrass Vice President Joe Biden during his recent visit to Jerusalem was diplomatically stupid. The issue was the announcement that the Jerusalem municipality had approved construction of 1,600 new apartments (not 1,600 settlements as some have reported) in an existing neighborhood in an already densely populated part of Jewish Jerusalem (not on land occupied by Arab residents, as was widely reported).
WWII: The most racist generationBy News on the Net Friday, March 19, 2010
Was the “Greatest Generation” just a bunch of racists? Actor and producer Tom Hanks, promoting his new World War II series “The Pacific,” suggested that the war with Japan was really all about American intolerance; and by the way, so is the war on terrorism.
