The inauguration was so uninspiring! From the boring speech by mr barak, the shallow, stupid, uninformed cheering fans, the butt shaking bands to watching our supposed "leader" chewing gum; it was embarrassing. How low can we sink!! He was so arrogant & haughty when he reiterated that he was re-elected so basically watch out America. Plain disgusting! Oh, & what about the fist pump? Classy NOT!

You are right about many things but you are mistaken as to how Obama got "re-elected". The election was a fraud. When you have 140% turnout in key precincts, it is not an honest election. I don't care if every Republican in the country had voted, BHO still would have "won". The powers that be would make it so.

The only objective media in the United States sadly resides in Canada. Thanks for an accurate summation of our current political situation. I pray we will survive 4 more years.

An excellent and informative article as always. This is a sad day for America and hope we have a country in four years.

Mourning big time. I was one of the patriotic Americans who pulled the lever for Romney. I have already let the republican party that i will no longer pull the lever for someone as a vote AGAINST someone, so in your book i may no longer be a patriotic voter but I stand strong behind my stance.

Will You Celebrate or Mourn Obama’s Inauguration?

Posted by Alan Caruba on Jan 21, 2013 at 07:14 PM

Obama has presided over the decline of America

Traditionally, the nation celebrates an inauguration as a demonstration of the peaceful transfer or extension of presidential power, but for half of the nation’s voters Inauguration Day 2013 is more likely to be a day of mourning, a day of fear for the nation’s ability to survive Barack Hussein Obama.

Let’s start with the basics. As Terence P. Jeffrey points out in a recent commentary on, “During Barack Obama’s first term as president of the United States, the debt of the federal government increased by $5.8 trillion, which exceeds the combined debt accumulated under all presidents from George Washington through Bill Clinton.”
