Israel Says Explosion Near Gaza City Hospital Caused by Palestinian Rocket

Palestinians described intense bombardments early Tuesday near two towns in southern Gaza, where Israel had ordered civilians to seek refuge.

Thousands of people trying to escape Gaza are gathered in Rafah, which has the territory’s only border crossing to Egypt. Mediators are pressing for an agreement to let aid in and refugees with foreign passports out. The United States hoped to break a deadlock with President Joe Biden set to head to Israel and Jordan on Wednesday.

Wagner Boss Behind Failed Russian Coup Listed as Passenger in Fatal Plane Crash

Wagner Group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin was among passengers on a plane that crashed northwest of Moscow on Wednesday, according to Russian state media.

The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry told TASS News and RIA Novosti that all 10 people on board the private plane died in the crash in Tver Oblast and that Mr. Prigozhin was on the list of passengers on board the plane. Woman Files $10.5 Million Lawsuit Against Federal Government and CBC for Vaccine Harms

A Canadian mother of three who says she suffered “permanent, significant physical, psychological, and emotional harms, and other damages” after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine has filed a $10.5 million lawsuit against the federal government, CBC News, and others. According to a July 3 media release by the groups Empowered Canadians and the Institute for Freedom and Justice, the lawsuit was filed in the Court of King’s Bench in Lethbridge, Alberta, against the federal minister of health, the chief public health officer of Canada, Health Canada, the Public Health Agency of Canada, Alberta Health Services, and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, among others.
