Well, well, well, creepy, old, demented Quid Pro Joe, won Super Tuesday or in his mind, Super Thursday. In his victory speech, a thoroughly confused Biden thanked his sister as his wife and congratulated his wife as his sister. Recalling my favorite scene in Chinatown, with Faye Dunaway, "She's my sister, she's my daughter, she's my sister, she's my daughter, she's my sister and my daughter!!!
Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren’s obnoxious question, slamming the legitimacy of John Roberts, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, who was presiding over this Senate impeachment trial, was one of the pivotal moments in the Senate impeachment hearing. Warren’s totally inappropriate question turned the tide on the issue of additional witnesses, the only outstanding question, during the entire farce of the Senate impeachment trial against President Trump.
The consequences of Major General Qasem Soleimani's death by American forces are now apparent and the Democrats are right to fear them. The Democrats are in disarray. The Democrats cannot bring themselves to praise Trump for an action, that if Obama had done, the sheeplike Dems would be declaring a national holiday in Obama's honor. When Obama approved the killing of bin Laden, he did not consult with Congress. Obama was also praised by GOP, (though the GOP also could not stand Obama) and Obama’s people for taking out bin Laden. Obama launched 2500 airstrikes without Congressional approval in Syria and Iraq to fight ISIS. Did the Democrats complain then? Nada. Crickets. But the hypocritical Democrats are now complaining that Trump did not consult with Congress in advance of taking out this terrorist leader.
Two Words. Vietnam Quagmire. I was fortunate to study the Vietnam War in the 70s during my time at Harvard. The United States entered into Vietnam with a simplistic and mostly ignorant view of Vietnam and Communist China. The argument for doubling down on fighting on behalf of South Vietnam was that if South Vietnam fell, Communism would triumph. Americans and their leaders are ethnocentric. They are ignorant of most other lands and cultures. That was true in the 70s. That is still true about Americans and their leaders vis a vis the Mideast in general and Syria, in particular, today.

Historically, the party of the American president loses in the subsequent midterms. The reasons are usually obvious and predictable. Typically, the supporters of the party of the president become complacent and do not get out and vote for their local Congressional candidates with the same enthusiasm and commitment as they did for their president, two years previously.
In the 1990s, Warren self-described herself as a "woman of color". There is a 1997 Fordham Law Review article in which Warren is described as Harvard's Law faculty, first woman of color. The footnote at the end of the article, because law review articles are rigorously researched and fact-checked for accuracy, refers to a conversation had with the news director of Harvard Law School, in August 1996, which confirms in Harvard Law's view that Warren is a woman of color.
One of my Harvard classmates raised some interesting questions as to the handling of the allegations raised by Professor Ford against Justice Kavanaugh. I tend to agree with a recent Wall Street Journal editorial which argues that recent events support the view that justice in America has been turned on its head.

During a recent speech in Saint-Jean-sur- Richelieu Prime Minister Trudeau publicly verbally bashed an elderly female Quebec senior. This brave woman had the temerity to ask Trudeau, when will his government pay back the $146 million dollars of Quebec taxpayer money that have been incurred to support Trudeau’s illegal immigrants who have entered Quebec illegally across the Quebec border from the United States.
There is clear evidence that Muslim Faisal Hussain, ( aged 29) who shot fifteen people on the Danforth, killing two innocent girls, Juliana Kozis (age 10) and Reese Fallon (age 18), and injured thirteen other innocent people, was neither seriously mentally ill, nor that he had acted alone.
